Ned was born on July 7 1994 in Buckinghamshire. He is 30 years old. He went to performing arts school and then graduated in acting from the Guildford School of Acting in 2015. Ned Porteous in EastEnders and Emmerdale His TV acting debut came in 2015 in an episode of Holby City. He then joined EastEnders in 2016 as Mark Fowler Jr. After that he joined Emmerdale in September 2017 as Tom Waterhouse – who we know later turned out to be Joe Tate. Ned left the role in 2018, last seen on screen in March 2019. Other roles After leaving Emmerdale, Ned made his feature film debut in 2019 in Astral. In 2020 he played Lord Wetherby, the lover of Lord Henry Glanville, in the first series of Bridgerton. He also played Luke in Disney+ series Extraordinary. Ned Porteous returns to Emmerdale Now he is back as Joe Tate in Emmerdale. Of his comeback, Ned said: “I’m so excited to be returning to Emmerdale. There’s a lot of unfinished business for Joe, and it feels like the right time for him to make a comeback. “Joe has always been a character with a dark side, but there could be something much bigger at play here. Joe is back for a reason, and the devastation at Home Farm is just the beginning of a much bigger story. It’s safe to say the audience can expect fireworks this holiday season!” Good to Know Share By Carena Crawford Dec 24 2024 By Carena Crawford Dec 24 2024
