With a village full of people who all seem to be related to each other somehow, just who could Dylan be connected to? There are plenty of theories about Dylan (Credit: ITV) Theory #1: Dylan is related to April Due to his close bond with April, whom he met when the pair were both homeless, some fans think the pair might find out they’re somehow related to each other. Given that Marlon is a Dingle, it’s certainly possible that there’s another secret Dingle on the scene! It wouldn’t be the first time that a secret child had turned up to rock the boat. Fans have already seen Dylan and Ray interacting, and know that the youngster is working for the villain. Could it be their connection is more than just a working one? Theory #3: Dylan is Caleb’s son Over on Reddit, one fan had an interesting theory, saying they “thought he looked like he could have been Caleb’s son, out of many affairs.” A second echoed the sentiment, saying: “it would be cool, but a stretch if Caleb had another long lost/estranged child, especially with all his affairs.” While there’s no connection been brought forward between Dylan and the Miligans as of yet, stranger things have happened in Emmerdale! Some fans have suggested Ross could be Dylan’s father (Credit: ITV) Theory #4: Ross is Dylan’s dad A further suggestion on Reddit had fans speculating as to whether Ross Barton could possibly be his dad. One fan described the possibility as a “really good twist in the story”, and with little known of Ross’ life before he moved to the village in 2013, it’s not impossible. Theory #5: Tina is his mother Another theory is that Dylan is one of Tina Dingle’s children.
