Classic Emmerdale spoilers: Emily tries to end it all, Viv’s struggling, and Val’s keeping an eye on Steph

Can Sam get Emily the help she needs?

In Classic Emmerdale spoilers for episodes airing on ITV3 on Friday March 14, Emily can’t see a way out of her torment so she decides to take her own life – but can Sam rescue her? Meanwhile, Viv is struggling after the robbery at the post office, and Val’s keeping an eye on Steph.

These episodes of Emmerdale originally aired on October 25 and 26 2006.

Emily tries to end it all

Distraught and desperate, Emily can’t see any way out of her torment. So she heads to the lake, where she fills her pockets with rocks and wades into the water.

But Sam is poaching nearby and he sees a body disappear into the deep water. Can he reach Emily in time?

Viv’s having a hard time

Elsewhere, Viv’s struggling to settle back into work after the robbery, so Jamie and Bob try to calm her nerves – in different ways.

Val takes on Steph

Meanwhile, Eric has a meeting with his solicitor, who tells him – much to his disappointment – that Steph has a strong case for a share in the factory.

So Val offers to pay Paul a big salary if he agrees to spy on Steph at the factory, until she’s back behind bars!

Viv’s at risk in Classic Emmerdale

Later, Viv’s alone in the shop when Victoria and her friends throw eggs at the windows. Viv’s so scared and distressed that she begins to hyperventilate and collapses, putting her unborn babies at risk. Eli sees what’s going on and calls an ambulance. When the paramedics arrive, they tell an upset Bob that Viv and the babies are at risk.

Emily under attack in Classic Emmerdale

Elsewhere, Sam takes Emily back to the Dingles where a furious Lisa attacks her and Zack does nothing to stop his wife’s anger! Sam’s forced to break the women apart. Later, Emily comes face to face with Paddy – how will he react to see his ex-wife’s back in the village?

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm.
