Classic Emmerdale spoilers: Rodney makes a romantic misstep

Rodney feels horrified when Lesley still doesn’t get the message that he’s not interested. Things escalate when Lesley declares herself Rodney’s significant other for an upcoming council event.

Rodney enlists Kelly’s help in a desperate bid to escape, leading Lesley to flee in tears. Though Rodney thinks he’s solved his problem, Simon’s wrath for his callous treatment of Lesley soon follows.

The council event doesn’t lack drama either! Councillor Harry, drunk and missing his wife, makes an outrageous pass at the new Mayor, Angela. Unbeknownst to him, Angela is a lesbian. Val misleads him, adding more chaos. Eric and Val find the situation hilariously entertaining.

The village buzzes with gossip as Rodney and Kelly‘s new relationship becomes public. Paul feels especially disgusted when Kelly emerges from Rodney’s home after spending the night.

Dawn invites Jo to move into Connelton View, bringing more changes to the household. Meanwhile, Donna takes Lisa’s newly refurbished bike for a test ride. Dawn, Jo, Andy, and Danny gather to watch. Jo notes a spark between Danny and Dawn, though Andy insists they’re just friends.

Excitement brews as the group plans to chip in for the bike so Donna can keep it. They eagerly anticipate a motocross event but worry about transport.

Marlon arranges to view Dale View but feels frustrated when Donna misses their appointment. Is she getting cold feet?
