Wanting to help, Lesley and Ivan try to get Nicola and Simon together to sort out their differences. Simon reveals things started to go south when he lost his business. He firmly believes Nicola wants the entrepreneur not the man.

But then Nicola insists Simon must move out – and Simon tells her the house is his! Can they figure this out?

Nicola chases Ivan as he and Paul commit

Nicola is comforted by Ivan over the break-up, but it only makes her like him even more. She mistakes his kindness for attraction and looks at him longingly. Ivan’s worried about Nicola’s looks and wonders if she’s trying it on with him.

Meanwhile, Paul says he’s sorry for going through Ivan’s phone. He wants to prove himself so offers him a key to the house. Rodney isn’t keen on the idea, but Paul pleads how serious he is about Ivan and Ivan is touched by the gesture.

As Paul confides in Diane he thinks he’d found his Mr Right, are Nicola’s advances going to bring everything crashing down?
