She was the secret younger half-sibling of Jimmy, Matthew and Carl King. Their father, Tom King, had had an affair with Carrie Nicholls, who was nursing his wife when she died. He had fathered a child with Carrie, but refused to acknowledge her publically or introduce her to his sons. It meant the boys only found out about Scarlett when Tom died and it was revealed he’d left her 25 percent of Home Farm and 10 percent of King & Sons to be held in trust until she turned 18. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Matthew didn’t want anything to do with Scarlett and was determined to buy her out. But Jimmy and Carl soon grew close to their new sister. During her time in Emmerdale, Scarlett developed a crush on Daz Eden. They eventually got together, but he cheated on her with Victoria Sugden and she ended things. Scarlett started her own business organising hen parties with Eve Jensen. She also dated Adam Barton, but when he kissed Mia Macey, Scarlett decided her time in the village was over. She moved to Canada to start afresh with her mum in 2011. She returned briefly in 2012 for Carl’s funeral to support Jimmy with his grief. They want her to return to stir things up in the village. “I think they should bring back Jimmy’s sister Scarlett back to the village… just saying…” shared one on X. Another proposed a comeback storyline for her: “They should totally bring Scarlett back – she does have family in the village. She could return as a rich business woman and visit her remaining brother.” “Loved her way she stood up to her brothers, the Kings. Liked her and Daz’s friendship. Loved her working at Emmerdale Haulage. Would like her to return,” added a third. A fourth said: “I’d like to see Scarlett come back.” We have to be honest – she wasn’t a character that had a huge impact on us, but these fans seem certain she should come back. So what do you think? Is Scarlett missing from the village? And would you like to see her return? Other Classic Emmerdale characters who need to comeback If fans want a Scarlett return, we can think of other Classic Emmerdale characters who could also make a comeback. Characters who need to come back to Emmerdale Jean Tate Jean is Joe Tate's cousin of Joe Tate. Born to Zoe Tate and Scott Windsor, Zoe had a one-night stand with Scott while she was struggling with her schizophrenia and didn't remember a thing. A bitter custody battle followed with attacks and thwarted escape attempts on both sides. Eventually Zoe left for New Zealand, along with little Jean. She also took Joe with her, which means Joe and Jean grew up almost like brother and sister. So where is Jean now? TJ Woods Terry Junior - aka TJ - is the son of Dawn and Terry Woods, grandson of Bob Hope. He was born in October 2003. TJ was two and a half when his mum Dawn was killed in an explosion. Then when TJ was seven, he became an orphan after Terry was killed in a fire. Dawn's dad Bob Hope decided the best thing for TJ would be for him to join his grandma Jean in Morocco. In 2012, Brenda went to visit TJ, and came back revealing she thought he was gay. However, not much has been heard of him since. So a return for TJ, who would be 21 now, would be just the ticket! Kathy Glover Kathy is also a popular choice amongst fans for an Emmerdale return. She was a mainstay in Emmerdale throughout the late 80s and the 90s before moving to Australia. Aside from being run over by Steve, Kathy had many other near death experiences. She was in a car suspended on the edge of a cliff and was involved in the bus crash that killed Butch Dingle. She was also famous for her many weddings and married Chris Tate and Dave Glover. Not all the weddings ended in marriage, mind. After Dave died, she hooked up with his former brother-in-law Biff, but he jilted her at the alter. Other classic characters who need to make a return to Emmerdale Kelly Windsor would be a great return and Steve Marchant would stir up trouble for Kim Tate - which we love to see. It would also be brilliant to see Daz back and, of course, Andy Sugden must return too! Read more: Who’s leaving Emmerdale?
