Back in the day, Vanity were a fan-favourite couple, with many viewers constantly campaigning for the two to be reunited. Thursday’s episode saw them get their wish as Charity Dingle leaned in for a kiss. But some fans are worried about how the storyline will play out. Charity leaned in for a kiss with Vanessa (Credit: ITV) Vanessa and Charity shared a kiss in Emmerdale During tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Charity admitted to Sarah that she’d had a fall while out in the woods, which could have brought on the bleeding. Sarah was furious at her gran for not being careful despite knowing how much a baby means to her. Charity soon confided in Mack that she felt guilty for letting Sarah down. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers In true Mack fashion, though, he said the wrong thing and told Charity that it might be for the best as everything happens for a reason. Charity couldn’t believe what she was hearing and went mad at her hubby. “You’re relieved, aren’t you? You’re pleased that I have lost Sarah’s embryo,” she screamed at Mack, before ordering him out of the house. Later, Charity decided to drown her sorrows with a bottle of wine in the Woolpack. Vanessa Woodfield came across her ex and invited her back to hers. Back at Vanessa’s, Charity carried on drinking as she opened up to Vanessa about her guilt over Sarah and the argument with Mack. Charity told Vanessa that she had seen a different side to Mack and didn’t like it, before telling her former lover: “I was a fool to let you go for him.” As the two continued to chat, Charity said she couldn’t face going home. Vanessa offered to make up Tracy’s bed for her to stay in. But Charity said she’d only stay in there if Vanessa came with her. Charity then leaned in for a kiss with Vanessa not pulling away. Writing on X, they said: “1,742 days I’ve waited for this moment VANITY ARE SO BACK.” However, some viewers have concerns about the reunion and how the story will be handled. Writing on X, one fan said: “Going to need #Vanity tho to still explore so much if this is going to be done right & not just for views ect tbh. So much has happened & I love them, but to be able to survive again it needs to be done right. Not sure I trust #Emmerdale to do that yet, but always hoping.” A second fan expressed concern over how this kiss has come about, writing: “I’m sorry but I’m happy for vanity and I’m not. I wanted them back but not in this way, again, with cheating, with lying, with charity who said she loves Mack one week ago.. Vanessa who always hated cheating and now she is on it.” Another fan agreed, writing: “Probably an unpopular opinion but I don’t like how Emmerdale have brought Vanity back together. Vinny did some research Vinny walked in on Paddy as he was doing a shift for the help line. Not realising that Vinny himself was struggling, Paddy spoke to Vinny about the importance to the helpline and how support and advice is always available. With Paddy out of the house, Vinny then took to the laptop and typed in "Am I gay?" He soon found a support group which included a live chat option. Later, he was seen messaging someone from the website called Mike. Steph packed her bags in Emmerdale tonight After learning about Ross's fling with Manpreet, Steph was reluctant to give him another chance. In tonight's episode, she walked into the cafe to see the pair laughing together. Heading home, Steph told her parents she feels silly for letting her guard down with Ross. Steph soon made a big decision and informed Ruby and Caleb that she'd booked a yoga retreat in Rome and then she was going travelling for a bit. She then shocked them that she'd be heading to Italy tonight! Ross discovered Steph's plans from his brother Lewis. He hurried to see her before she left. He begged Steph to stay, but she got in the taxi and headed off anyway. Viewers will know that Georgia Jay, who plays Steph, announced her pregnancy earlier this year and is heading off on maternity leave. Ray gave Dylan some money April and Dylan hung out, with April offering to pay for Dylan to go bowling with her and Arthur. Dylan, however, was reluctant to accept money from April. As he read a message from Ray asking what he is doing later, Dylan told April that he is determined to get a job. After being ignored by Dylan, Ray tracked Dylan down in the village and spotted him sharing a kiss with April. Ray used this to his advantage. As he approached Dylan, he asked him about April.
