Over the last few weeks, Paddy has been keeping Bear hidden from the outside world, as he tried to get Bear to stay quiet on Ray’s death. But, once he realised it was wrong, and that Bear needed help, Paddy caved. However, things immediately got worse for everyone, as Bear told his therapist that he killed Ray, and was brought to the station. And while Cain thought this could help Moira’s case, tonight’s episode proved otherwise. There were a lot of questions (Credit: ITV) Bear made Moira look more guilty Tonight’s episode (February 16) unfortunately just put Moira in the frame even more. It kicked off with Bear in the station, being questioned about his confession. At the station, Bear continued to insist that he acted alone in killing Ray. But as DS Walsh continued to amp up the pressure, he accidentally told her people were yelling, confirming what she already suspected – someone helped him. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers While he kept telling her that Paddy and Dylan were nowhere near the house, he slipped up yet again and admitted that Cain had spoken to him. By doing so, DS Walsh immediately wondered if Cain was trying to get Bear to prove Moira’s innocence because he knew she was responsible. And while Bear forcefully told her she was wrong, DS Walsh came to her own conclusion – Moira was the one to help Bear cover up the murder. Whilst all of that was happening, Cain headed to see Moira, convinced that she is going to be in the clear. Moira knew it was a long-shot, but with Bear having confessed, both of them had a renewed sense of hope that everything will be okay… Paddy makes himself look guilty (Credit: ITV) Suspicion turns to Paddy in Emmerdale spoilers However, while Moira is still DS Walsh’s number one suspect for the case, attention soon turns to Paddy. Later in the week, Emmerdale spoilers show Paddy is in the line of questioning. As it seems his attempts at sticking up for Bear leads to suspicion. Spoilers tell us that Bear is once again questioned, causing him to become even more confused. But Paddy keeps interrupting, assuring everyone that Bear is telling the truth. However, his constant chatter leads to Walsh suspecting he was actually more involved than he is saying. As the interviews continue, Walsh makes it clear she knows Bear alone did not move the body. And Paddy is set to spiral further when he and Dylan are called to the station for questioning. The week heartbreakingly ends with Bear charged with manslaughter, leaving a distraught Paddy hoping he has a good self-defence charge. But the big question is – will Paddy and Dylan be found out? Or is Moira looking at even more charges? What else happened in Emmerdale tonight? A lot of drama unfolded elsewhere in Emmerdale tonight, as Laurel and Arthur came to blows, and Matty struggled. Over the weekend it was the one-year anniversary of the huge limo crash that took the lives of Amy, Leyla, and Suzy. And it seems Matty was the only one to remember! Paddy opened up to Marlon While Bear was being interviewed by the police, Paddy decided it was time for Marlon to hear the truth about everything. Paddy blamed himself for everything, but Marlon tried his hardest to reassure his best friend that he couldn't have done anything differently. But by the time they headed back to Paddy's house, they were shocked to find it had been turned into a crime scene. 2. Laurel discovered the truth in Emmerdale tonight After Arthur snapped at Gabby and quit his job, Laurel headed home to check on him. But instead, she discovered he was packing his bags and looking for his passport. And he revealed he wanted to head to Australia. Confused on how he would fund the trip, Arthur finally revealed he stole Ray's money, which only led to more arguments. But when Arthur threatened to tell everyone that Laurel, hit him, she was left shocked. 3. Matty struggled in Emmerdale tonight Elsewhere, Matty was annoyed that Cain was forcing him to do all the farm work by himself. But what Cain didn't remember was that it was actually the anniversary of the limo crash – something that everyone seemed to forget except for Matty. 4. Cain couldn't tell Moira the truth At the prison, visiting Moira, Cain told her about Bear, and how he believed it made her look innocent. But Moira wasn't as sure. What she did want to focus on, however, was Cain's cancer. But when she asked him for the truth, he once again failed to tell her.
