Tonight (June 23) Robert Sugden opened up about his prison experiences to Victoria, who was glad he was trying to turn his life around. But John still is worried that Robert will split Caleb decided to give Robert a chance and hire him to work at the Depot. But that was short-lived as John took it upon himself to make sure Robert got fired. John is raging with Robert over Vic’s black eye (Credit:: ITV) John blackmailed Caleb Despite being upset over hitting Victoria and struggling with being home, Robert was actually looking forward to his first day of work. And even Vic was proud of him for turning his life around. It didn’t get off to the best start as Rob was late and Caleb told him off. But he agreed to give him a chance to prove what he is capable of. Rob was instructed to go through a list of potential clients and get them introduced to the firm. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers And Caleb was impressed to hear that Robert had already discovered one of his old contacts needed a new place for distribution and was going to link them with the Depot. But later, John headed to see Caleb and tried to talk him out of it. Caleb didn’t care about anything John was saying, reminding him that Robert deserves a chance. However, John wasn’t having it and told Caleb to remember he got rid of Anthony’s body for him. When Caleb asks if he is blackmailing him, John says he’s not – but just wants him to do this one thing (sounds a lot like blackmail to us, John!) In the end, Caleb told Robert that a huge client pulled out and so they couldn’t afford to take him on, leaving Robert hurt but understanding. Until Jai mentions there was no client. John and Robert went head-to-head in the village and when John spotted Vic’s black eye, he urged her to call the police. She refused and told him if he did then she would never speak to him again. But John isn’t about to stop there. John finally has Robert where he wants him (Credit: ITV) Robert ends up in the clutches of John in Emmerdale Spoilers for this week shows that things are about to get a whole lot darker for Robert, as he ends up in the hands of evil John. When Robert is rejected once again by Aaron, he heads to drown his sorrows. And he decides the best way to do that is by getting drunk and hooking up with men. But as soon as Robert realises Aaron isn’t jealous, he feels deflated. But John watches on as Robert’s date drugs his drink. So, he intervenes. John gets Robert in the back of his van while unconscious and heads off to a remote area. When they end up alone, John opens the back door and looms over Robert’s body with a syringe. Clearly debating killing his brother, Robert seems to be in even more danger than he was before. But will John save Robert? Or is Robert about to be in a lot of trouble? Some fans think John will use the same injection as he gave Nate – and that might spark the beginning of the end. What else happened in Emmerdale tonight? In Emmerdale tonight, things heated up as John got Robert fired from his trial shift with Caleb - by reminding him he got rid of Anthony's body. But away from that, the episode was full of drama. From Cain discovering Sarah's IVF plans, to Belle accidentally getting the entire Dingle clan banned from Nate's funeral. Here is a reminder of what else happened in Emmerdale tonight. Victoria stopped Robert from leaving in Emmerdale tonight Eaten by his guilt after hitting Victoria, Robert made the decision to move out and leave the village. But this only made Victoria more concerned about him, telling him he should stay so she can look after him. He opened up on how prison was like "hell" and he spent the years being targeted and bullied. He again apologised for hitting her, explaining he didn't know where he was. Victoria told him that he may need therapy, and Robert agreed to think about it. Cain discovered Sarah's IVF plans Sarah's secrets are all finally out! She told Jacob that Cain and Charity knew, but he thought she meant about both the cancer and the IVF, so he headed to see Cain. Cain was shocked to hear about the IVF and Sarah stopped him from hurting Jacob. But while Charity was understanding, Cain was adamant that Sarah was making a huge mistake. Sarah had second thoughts in Emmerdale tonight After the showdown with Cain, Sarah met Kammy in the cafe. He was the first person to be nice about her IVF, telling her she would be a great mum. Sarah left the conversation feeling much better. But by the time she saw Jacob again, her mind was having doubts. She just discovered that her eggs are viable, bringing her one step closer to being a mum. But with everyone's negative reaction and the warnings that she may die, she found herself wondering if she was being reckless. Jacob told her she should go through with it, and held her hand, encouraging her. But will Sarah change her mind? Tracy banned the Dingle's from Nate's funeral Belle overheard Tracy talking to Charles about Nate's funeral and asked if Cain can go - which Tracy denied. Later she went to see Tracy again, and told her that she and Cain don't actually know what happened to Nate. But Tracy took it as an accusation and in turn banned the entire Dingle clan from the funeral. Heartbroken, Belle filled Cain in on the update, and he told her they were going to do something with just the family to give Nate a Dingle send-off.
