After he was revealed to be lurking in the bushes last night and behind smashing Aaron’s windscreen, Kev stepped things up a gear tonight (Tuesday December 23). But as Robert confronted him, it’s clear Kev hasn’t finished yet. Robert and Aaron found the trees outside the flat on fire (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale tonight – Kev promised to leave Robert and Aaron were horrified to find the trees on fire outside the house. Aaron was convinced it was Ross, but Robert wasn’t so sure. Aaron confronted Ross who denied all knowledge and Jimmy gave him an alibi. So if it wasn’t Ross, who was it? Kev! Robert was putting the rubbish out when he noticed Kev in the bushes and called him out. Robert brought Kev inside and tried to talk to him. Kev has convinced himself Robert doesn’t actually love Aaron and he’s not prepared to accept Robert doesn’t love him. Robert tried to throw him out, but crazed Kev wasn’t going anywhere. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Kev told him he has changed, he’s a new man and Robert doesn’t need to be scared of him. The smashed windscreen and burning trees sort of suggest otherwise! Kev told Robert he wouldn’t take no for an answer, they were getting back together whatever it took. However, Robert did manage to get through to him eventually. He left, which seemed all-too easy… And of course it was – because while Robert was saying he felt Kev was gone for good, Kev was cleaning up a shotgun! Kev is not letting this go (Credit: ITV) Things get worse for Robert and Aaron By Christmas Eve, Robert and Aaron are still worried sick that Kev will return. And an incident soon suggests they were right to be! And by Christmas Day, Robert decides to head off on a mystery errand. But then he doesn’t return. With Robert having seemingly vanished on the big day, where is he? Does Kev have him? And what does he actually have planned for his ex and his partner? Chris Coghill, who plays Kev, has previously insisted to Emmerdale Insider: “Kev’s incredibly dangerous, but there’s a weird thing where he’d never actually hurt Robert. “I know Kev wouldn’t have any qualms about physically attacking anybody, apart from Robert.” Which suggests Aaron is the target… Could Kev get Robert out of the way on Christmas Day to try to finish Aaron off? Also in Emmerdale tonight As the Robron drama was going on, plenty of other drama was happening in Emmerdale tonight as well! Lydia persisted with Kim Kim wasn't happy to see Lydia back. Kim threw her out again, exhanging harsh words. Lydia ignored Kim and got on with doing washing for her. When Kim was then let down by a taxi company to take her to the doctors, Lydia insisted on driving. They were then in the village to witness Joe's second proposal... Joe got a yes in Emmerdale tonight Joe was sulking in the cafe and Dawn felt guilty. Ross was winding them up, which Joe did not find funny. Dawn tried to explain to Joe it was just because she was taken by surprise. She then told Ross she didn't want to confuse the kids, but Ross told her to go for it. Dawn later told Joe to ask her again. He got down on one knee in the village and proposed. She said yes! Kim and Lydia were watching from afar, but Kim refused to appear bothered by it. Jacob and Sarah continued to annoy everyone Jacob and Sarah are fussing about their secret wedding, trying to get everyone to be there without actually telling them what's going on. But then they came up with a bright idea to just do it on their own. Because what could go wrong with that? Dylan still wouldn't talk in Emmerdale tonight Rhona and Marlon were happy to hear Dylan was being released in time for Christmas Day. Paddy encouraged them to go and visit him. Rhona and Marlon were desperate to try and get Dylan to open up to the police. But he still knew it was just too dangerous. Can they persuade him before it's too late?
