Robert might have put a target on Aaron's back in Emmerdale as Kev gets a gun next week

Kev is a man with a broken heart and that's dangerous

Robert has finally ended things with Kev in Emmerdale, but although the move has delighted fans, it must come with a warning: Aaron is in danger.

Robert hasn’t exactly told Kev about Aaron yet, but it probably won’t be long before he joins the dots. And then what will happen?

Actor Chris Coghill has previously warned Kev would have no qualms about hurting people. Has Robert put a target on Aaron’s back?

Emmerdale tonight saw Robert end things

After we saw the story of how Robert and Kev got together in prison earlier this week, we also discovered the various lies they have told each other.

Viewers know Kev is not dying as he claims to be and they also know Robert lied about Victoria having a brain tumour. Kev also knows that now, and tonight he was like a bear with a sore head stomping around trying to find the truth.

Robert managed to cover his lie by saying he hadn’t wanted to hurt Kev – but assured him it was nothing to do with Aaron.

However as Kev started to calm down, Robert decided he couldn’t live the lie any longer and told him the truth – well half the truth. He ended their relationship claiming his feelings weren’t the same any more. Though he did not confess that was because he was totally and utterly devoted to Aaron.

Kev sobbed his little heart out, clearly devastated. But how long will his upset continue? And will he channel it into something more?

Next week, Kev gets a gun – is Aaron in danger in Emmerdale?

As the week picks up Kev is adamant he’ll be spending his “dying days” with Robert. Kev is also having trouble controlling his rage. He clashes with Mack over a spilled coffee and Robert manages to intervene before the situation explodes.

Robert returns home to Aaron full of regret over abandoning Kev in his final weeks. He reveals he’s agreed to nurse Kev when the end does come and is grateful when Aaron gives him his blessing to do that.

The next day everyone heads to Vinny’s housewarming at Dale View – including Robert, Aaron and Kev.

Kev is drunk as a skunk and decides to serenade the guests with a spot of karaoke. Having made a fool of himself, a rejected and vulnerable Kev storms out of the house.

Although Robert once again promises to be there for Kev when the end comes, it seems Kev is soon plotting something else.

Alone at Woodbine, Kev takes out a handgun as he grimly plots his next move.

What exactly is Kev up to? And could Robert and love rival Aaron be in danger?

Chris Coghill on Kev’s temper

Actor Chris has previously spoken about Kev’s violent tendancies, and he has assured Robert is in no danger from him.

“He’s incredibly dangerous,” he reveals. “But there’s a weird thing where he’d never actually hurt Robert.

“I know Kev wouldn’t have any qualms about physically attacking anybody – apart from Robert,” Chris says.

We reckon Aaron should watch his back then…
