This came as a conflicted Aaron Dingle received some terrible news about Robert. Torn between his marriage and his ex, Aaron decided to pay a visit to Robert in prison… lying to John about where he was actually going. John knows Aaron is lying (Credit: ITV) Aaron planned to visit Robert in prison as John stressed over his crimes in Emmerdale tonight When Victoria returned from her solo visit to Robert in prison, she did so in a complete state. She’d found her brother a miserable mess. Aaron was immediately filled with guilt, and set about arranging a visit to the prison. Meanwhile, at the surgery, Vanessa thanked John for being there for Tracy in her time of need. Manpreet was concerned that he hadn’t been sleeping and offered to sit him down for an appointment. As he confided in Manpreet, John expressed his concern for Tracy, disguising his guilty conscience. She handed over a pamphlet for counselling, ostensibly for Tracy, but which he soon utilised for himself. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Speaking over the confidential helpline, John revealed that he’d been suffering sleepless nights and nightmares – cue flashbacks to his killing Nate, and disposing of the body. Panicking that he might have revealed too much, John ended the call… which was when he found confirmation of Aaron’s prison appointment. Prodding Aaron with suggestion of an overnighter in Leeds, John was troubled as Aaron made his excuses… all-too aware of where he’s actually going. What will John do next? Bear gave his bike a kicking (Credit: ITV) Also in Emmerdale tonight: Bear raged at his bike Elsewhere, Paddy was frustrated as Bear left motorcycle parts strewn all over the house. Bear was irritated by his son’s complaining, leaving Mandy and Paddy concerned. Later, they surprised Bear with the news that Cain had allowed him to work on his bike in the garage. However, his good mood wasn’t to last – and, once everyone had left, he erupted with fury at his bike. What’s wrong with Bear? Vinny was almost caught in the act (Credit: ITV) Vinny and Kammy covered their tracks Things were still awkward between Vinny and Kammy following their near-kiss last week. Kammy was keen to move on, but Vinny continued stewing. Kammy offered to set things right by putting the stolen phone back, but Vinny was dubious. And, as they listened to Billy complain to Marlon about being blamed for the phone theft, set a plan into action. Later that day, Vinny snuck back into Home Farm… only to be almost caught in the act by Kim Tate, who returned home, locking the door behind her. With Vinny hiding behind the sofa, he text a panicked SOS to Kammy – who arrived at the door to distract Kim while Vinny made his escape. Returning to the living room, Kim found the phone where Vinny had left it. Problem solved! Afterwards, Kammy tried to set things right with Vinny. Vinny once again tried to play the kiss off as a ‘laugh,’ denying being gay, or bi, or anything else besides. John and Robert are at loggerheads (Credit: ITV) What happens next? Robert issues John a promise in Emmerdale spoilers this week As Aaron’s visit goes ahead, Robert sits down for a chat with his ex. Robert tells Aaron that he still loves him, but Aaron is adamant that John is the only man he wants or needs. Heartbroken, Robert agrees to leave Aaron and John alone. However, John has ideas of his own – and pays Robert a visit himself. Robert tells John that their father would have wanted nothing to do with him, and then reveals that he kissed Aaron on the wedding day. At boiling point, John tells Robert that he has no idea what he’s capable of. Robert grows convinced that John is hiding something. John’s left feeling as though the situation is spiralling out of control as Robert vows to return to the village. Soon, Aaron and John are shocked as Robert follows through on his promise.
