Emmerdale fans convinced Anthony’s body will be found at the same time as Nate’s

There might be more than one body in the lake...

Emmerdale fans have been wondering exactly where John put Anthony body, and why he is so reluctant to tell anyone. But some believe they know the real reason.

John has been living a secret life. And Emmerdale fans have just found out some of the things he has been hiding. We know he killed Nate, drugged Chas and caused Jacob’s allergic reaction. And he also told Victoria that it’s not the first time he messed up – before going to the hospital to visit a man in a coma.

At the beginning of this week, Emmerdale viewers also finally got confirmation that Anthony is not where he said he was, but instead his body is somewhere else. But when everyone demanded to know, he simply refused to tell them the truth.

Is Anthony’s body in the lake with Nate?

When Anthony was killed, fans immediately suspected John has buried a body before since he knew how to handle the situation so well. And technically that’s true. He murdered Nate, but he didn’t bury him anywhere – he threw his body in the lake.

And with John’s secrets clearly meaning a lot to him, he is of course never going to tell anyone the truth if it risks something coming to light.

This seems to be why a lot of fans are convinced Anthony is currently sinking somewhere in the lake too. And John knows if he tells them that, then there is a chance Nate will be discovered.

However, some fans think Nate’s body will be discovered first – potentially at John and Aaron’s wedding. So, if Nate is found then a search of the lake will happen. Which means Anthony could be found too.

Anthony and Nate to be discovered at the same time

Taking to X, one viewer proposed the idea that Anthony’s body will be found at the same time as Nate’s. And if that happens, there will be a lot of repercussions for a lot of characters.

The user wrote: “I think Anthony is in the water with Nate. That’s why John won’t tell anyone where he is. He knows if he is found then Nate will be too. Everything would come out at the same time.”

Not only would this bring a lot of questions to John, but it would also mean trouble for the Miligan’s – and they’re already dealing with enough.

Steph has been struggling ever since she found the truth, so if Anthony’s body were to turn up and what happened was revealed to everyone, it would not be good for her.

And with Ruby and Caleb still processing everything – while he recovers from having his kidney stolen – it would be a lot to throw on them.

While we are yet to learn where Anthony is buried, nothing ever stays a secret in Soap Land forever.
