We have spent the week in Emmerdale watching flashbacks to all the suspects in the ‘who killed Ray’ saga and now we finally have answers.

ITVX released the episode confirming the killer truth at 7am this morning and you can consider us shook.

The suspects in Ray’s murder all have means and motive

The week began with Laurel Thomas finding out what Ray really was. He then tried to explain himself, begging her to believe they could have a life together.

Distraught Laurel threw him out and told him to go. Her son, Arthur, confronted Ray wanting to avenge his mother’s pain.

Next we discovered Rhona had been confronted by her old flame Graham Foster, who was not dead as we were led to believe six years ago. He wanted to help her and told her he would sort the Ray problem out and bring April home.

We then saw Marlon armed with a knife issuing threats to Ray. He teamed up with Ross, who got one of Moira’s guns and decided he would sort the situation out.

Finally, Paddy discovered everything after Dylan told him the truth about Ray, Celia and Bear. He was last seen fighting with Ray promising to make sure the police brought him down.

Who killed Ray in Emmerdale as another character is brought back from the dead

Tonight’s episode picks up as Paddy refuses to walk away from Ray and goes to ring the police. Ray threatens Eve, leaving Paddy angry, but powerless.

Paddy then confides in Dylan that Bear is dead and beats himself up for not realising Bear was depressed. Dylan also blames himself. Dylan wants to go to the police but Paddy won’t risk it.

Meanwhile, as Ray is making a call to get a fake passport and new identity, Arthur arrives for another confrontation. Instead Arthur just steals Ray’s bag and runs off.

In the confusion, Ray is confronted and tasered by Graham. Graham begins beating Ray, but is then interrupted meaning he can’t finish the job.

Elsewhere, Ross finds April at Moira’s farm and assures her he will take over and deal with Ray. But April begs him not to kill Ray as she couldn’t live with herself. Will Ross listen?

Ray however is preoccupied with Dylan, who he blames for everything. As he attacks him and promises to end him, will it in fact be the end of Ray?

In the closing moments of the episode what really happened is revealed as another character comes back from the ‘dead’.

We won’t spoil it here for those wanting to watch it tonight, but with multiple people presumed dead in this storyline, it might come as a complete shock. Celia, Bear, Anya or even Ray himself – is he even dead?

We’ll be back after the episode to discuss!
