But it looks like many believe the end is right around the corner. And it’s actually because of a similarity to Tom King’s end. John’s been getting away with his crimes for too long – and everybody is sick of it. Each and every time it seems John may get caught, Emmerdale throws in another curveball to save him. But fans have noticed a similarity to Tom King’s abuse storyline that marked the beginning of his end. And so they are more convinced than ever that John’s time is running out. And this time, he uses his nephew Harry to get revenge. Alone with Harry, Robert lashes out as his nephew won’t stop drumming – most likely egged on by John. And just at that moment, John arrives and Harry runs to him. But Emmerdale fans can’t help but notice the similarity to Tom King’s storyline and wonder if John is about to be caught. So I wonder will Harry tell Vic that John told him to make all the noise he could?” Another fan agreed, pointing out that when Tom targeted Carl, it marked the start of his departure. They said: “Tom threatening Carl about the tablet was really the beginning of the end for him.
