Nate’s body was discovered in the lake last month after being thrown in there by John Sugden last year. With no-one aware that John is the real culprit, Tracy and Cain Dingle have been accusing each other of the crime. Cara returned to The Dales this week and took Tracy’s side, but fans believe she is secretly plotting Tracy’s downfall. She also had a go at him for stinking of booze. Moira did not escape her wrath either as Cara shamed her for her affair with Nate. Cara also went in on Caleb for his affair with Tracy, which ultimately ended the couple’s marriage. Meanwhile, Tracy had some good news in the form of a letter informing her she’d be getting a payout from Nate’s life insurance policy. The Dingles decided to attend the funeral despite Tracy and Cara insisting they weren’t invited. While Tracy and Cain managed to come to a truce, Cara was still adamant that Cain killed her son. However, fans believe Cara is hiding her true feelings. Some fans believe she has returned to get her hands on Nate’s life insurance money and to get custody of Frankie.
