Robert has been getting dangerously close to discovering his half-brother’s secrets, but John took back the power when he found out one of Robert’s secrets. However, fans have described this latest plot as “stupid” and can’t believe John got away with it. While Robert was reluctant to open up too much, he instead took the opportunity to ask Liam about John. Robert Sugden wanted to know if Liam trusted John as he felt his brother was “a little bit too good to be true”. After Liam left, Robert received another visitor in the form of Ray. Ray was eager to do another weed deal, but Robert insisted it had been a one off. John listened in as Robert revealed he had been the one to steal Lewis, Ross and Mack’s weed stash. “If they find out I screwed them over, I’m finished,” he told Ray, as John grinned at this discovery. How stupid is that? Big orange ‘I’m listening’ to you light,” pointed out one fan on X. A second fan said: “John breaking in, nobody notices, plugging in a listening device, absolute joke, now back in his van like the invisible man.” A third viewer wrote on Reddit: “Had to laugh at that gigantic ‘listening device’ with a fecking blinking light (!!)
