And now they are more convinced than ever before that a Vanity reunion is on the cards after seeing them in Wednesday’s episode. Vanessa has increasingly been back in Charity’s orbit recently after they first got together in 2017 and were torn apart over Charity’s cheating in 2020. And viewers are ever hopeful that it’s as more than just good friends. Here’s the evidence a reunion could be in the near future… Charity makes a confession to Vanessa (Credit: ITV) Vanessa supports Charity in Emmerdale After taking a fall on Tuesday night (August 5) Charity was worried about the embroyo she had implanted to be Sarah’s surrogate. But she didn’t confess to Sarah. On Wednesday, Charity distracted everyone with an engagement party for Sarah and Jacob. However, something was going on with Charity. She was quiet and then she rushed off to the bathroom. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Vanessa sensed something wasn’t right (Mack didn’t which says it all really, doesn’t it?!) and went after her. Charity confessed she was bleeding and Vanessa gave her a big hug. When Mackenzie did find out, he wanted her to tell Sarah, but Charity refused. Instead she went home to be alone. Sarah however, followed her and Charity admitted she had been bleeding: “I don’t think it’s taken,” she cried. Sarah protested it might still be all right, but Charity told her: “I know my own body. I’m so sorry.” Charity and Vanessa hug and the moment meant everything to fans (Credit: ITV) What fans are saying as they spot Vanity reunion ‘clue’ Going back to the Vanity hug – that scene sealed it for fans, who are sure it was a hint that their days are coming again soon. “Our first Vanity hug in what feels like forever and it was so significant and heartfelt. Charity and Vanessa’s soulmate connection is alive and it’s thriving. We’ve waited years for scenes like this and we’re finally being rewarded. Bring on the Vanity Endgame,” said one excited viewer. (Credit: ITV) Do Vanessa and Charity get back together in Emmerdale? Vanessa is currently single and Charity is married to Mack. But it’s not exactly a happy union with him not at all on board with Charity being Sarah’s surrogate. In fact, it almost ended their marriage altogether. Mackenzie is now pretending to be supportive, but it’s Vanessa who’s actually being supportive. Emma Aktins recently spoke about the possibility of Vanity reuniting: “I think when they do have scenes together, there’s always that potential for an opening again, a reconnection, because they get on so well as friends. “There’s always that spark and you never know… It’s a joy to work with Michelle (Hardwick).
