In the continuation of Monday night’s barn fire storyline, viewers were on the edge of their seats as Moira Dingle‘s family rushed to the scene of the blazing inferno. And, as Cain tried desperately to save his wife, both of their lives were left hanging in the balance. Cain found himself trapped as he rushed to Moira’s side (Credit: ITV) Moira and Cain trapped as the barn fire escalates After calling Chas and Cain to alert them to the situation, Mack and John rushed inside. The pair managed to rescue Ruby, but Moira remained trapped inside. Brushing off a terrified Chas, Cain stormed into the barn to rescue his wife. Who lives? Who dies? Fans will have to wait until tonight to find out… and they aren’t happy about it. Viewers will have to wait to see if Cain and Moira survived (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans ‘raging’ as soap airs massive cliffhanger Taking to social media as the episode aired, fans shared their frustration at the soap leaving them hanging. “Why leave it there @emmerdale #raging,” wrote one infuriated fan on X. “The cliffhanger omg,” said another. “OMG OMG. I couldn’t breathe watching that and now I’ve got to wait until tomorrow to see if my favourite couple or [sic] okay,” a third fretted. “Don’t leave us on cliffhanger like that my Coira heart can’t take it,” another stressed.
