And fans believe they’ve found a clue that it’s all about to come out. Last month, Vinny shocked viewers by trying to kiss his best friend, Kammy. And while he spent the majority of the month afterwards trying to ignore it, Kammy is keen to help Vinny figure things out. But it’s not that simple for him, since he’s currently planning his wedding to Gabby Thomas. And while he’s wrestling with the idea that he doesn’t want to get married, he refuses to let Gabby know. Gabby has no idea that Vinny tried to kiss Kammy (Credit: ITV) Vinny and Gabby are getting married It’s been a rollercoaster few weeks for Vinny Dingle as he has been preparing for his engagement party – while also trying to keep Gabby in the dark. But things took a turn when Laurel overheard him and Kammy talking the garage. Initially, Vinny feared that she heard him admit he tried to kiss Kammy. However, she overheard him tell his friend that nobody will ever compare to Liv, his first wife. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers While Laurel wanted him to be honest with Gabby, things went from bad to worse when he got news that his partner was in the hospital after her crash diet led to a car accident. When Gabby was home and planning another party for them, Vinny admitted he didn’t know if they should go through with it. But after seeing Gabby’s face, he explained he meant they shouldn’t have an engagement party, but instead just get married. However, ITVX has changed their poster of Emmerdale. And fans think it’s a huge sign that Vinny’s secret is about to come out. Previously we had John staring very ominously, and Sarah looking worried in a hospital. And both foreshadowed their big storylines. So now, it is Vinny sitting in a dark room looking quite sad and nervous. Not the happy Vinny we all know and love. And it seems fans are convinced this foreshadows the big secret reveal. But they think it will likely happen on their wedding day. Taking to a Reddit thread, one Emmerdale viewer wrote: “The new ITVX poster of Vinny is making me think it’s all going to come out soon about him and Kammy? I think it will build up and then be revealed on their wedding day.” While other fans agree that the Vinny and Kammy kiss will be revealed on their wedding day, some are happy that the focus isn’t on that – but instead on how Vinny doesn’t want to get married. One responded: “I am guessing he will panic at the wedding about not wanting to get married. I do think that it will also come out that he tried to kiss Kammy. And that will add to Gabby’s confusion. But obviously that’s not the real issue. I’m quite excited. It isn’t what I expected from this storyline.” One fan doesn’t like the storyline However, another fan wasn’t too impressed with the storyline, considering it’s not the first time it’s happened to Gabby. They added: “What a shame for Gabby and a huge lack of originality from the writers! All been done before with her mother Bernice and Gabby!” So, will Vinny even make it to their wedding day without confessing to Gabby? Or will he hide his worries and say ‘I do’?
