Kelly Windsor was last seen in Emmerdale in 2011, after a brief comeback. But since then, she has barely even been mentioned. And after reuniting with Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, fans are demanding she makes a permanent return. Adele first joined the soap as Kelly back in 1993 until 2000. But then five years later she returned and stayed until 2007. Then in 2011 she made another brief three month return. Fans will remember she was the daughter of Vic and Anne Windsor, making her the step-daughter of Viv and Bob. And over the years she had some amazing storylines. When she returned, Kelly brought her and Jimmy King’s son, Elliot, with her, despite nobody knowing that they had a child. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers However, Kelly attacked Jimmy which caused him to lose his memories for a while, and even broke him and Nicola up for a short period. Knowing that Jimmy was trying to win Nicola back, Kelly continued to stir up trouble between them. Jimmy was adamant he and Kelly would never get back together, and after some back-and-forth Kelly agreed to leave the village. But beforehand, she gave Jimmy an ultimatum that either he left with her or he would never see Elliot again. Jimmy ended up choosing his life with Nicola, causing Kelly to get in her car and drive off with Elliot. However, she got a work opportunity and later returned to leave Elliot with Bob. When Jimmy heard the news, he agreed to care for Elliot, and has had him ever since. Taking to Instagram yesterday (June 26) Mandy Dingle actress Lisa Riley posted a photo with Adele as they spent the day together. She captioned it: “After work at Emmerdale today I had the most wonderful afternoon with this beauty. Thanks so much for such a lovely day-friends for life. Gorgeous late lunch. Lots and lots to chat about – still smiling.” But fans were quick to remember the iconic Kelly Windsor, and beg for Emmerdale to bring her back – especially after the amazing male returns recently. One fan commented: “Wow. Would love to see you both on Emmerdale together. I hope Adele comes back and causes some trouble for Jimmy.” “Kelly was my absolute favourite back in the day, would love to see her back!” another added. A third penned: “Bring Kelly back! About time Jimmy had a good story too.” “Okay, Kelly return happening when Emmerdale?” a desperate fan asked.
