John just put his nephew in grave danger

In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale Victoria’s son Harry was rushed to hospital after drinking contaminated water.

John Sugden tried to get one up on Mackenzie by tampering with the slurry machine – and it went horribly wrong. Mack and John’s feud has been a focal point in Emmerdale for a while now. And because of it, things reached disaster tonight (May 16).

Trying to get Mackenzie Boyd in trouble, John messed with the slurry machine. But what he didn’t realise is that it was going to contaminate the village water system – and put his nephew in hospital.

John tampers with slurry machine

John has managed to keep his secrets hidden for a while now. But Mackenzie knows there is something he’s hiding – he just doesn’t realise it’s that he is a murderer.

But John saw his opportunity to get Mackenzie into a heap of trouble, and so he messed with the farm’s slurry machine.

Tonight it was revealed that not only had the slurry spread everywhere, but it had reached the stream. Which just so happens to be connected to the whole village’s water supply.

Moira was naturally fuming at Mack, as he was supposed to have sorted it the day prior. Mack was adamant he didn’t do anything wrong. But he later accepted responsibility and thanked John for his help.

They had sent an urgent message into the village group chat to let everyone know not to drink water. But Victoria Sugden had missed it as she was sorting Harry out. And gave him some water.

John was horrified to see his nephew bundled into the back of an ambulance, knowing he was the one responsible. And while all fingers point to Mack – will Harry be okay?

Emmerdale Harry fate revealed

Spoilers for next week show that Harry is still severely ill after the slurry leak.

He is still in hospital and on a drip, being supported by his family. And John keeps showing up to try to help.

Victoria is obviously absolutely terrified that he’s still sick, and is desperate to get Harry home.

But while he remains in hospital, Mack becomes enemy number 1, as everyone blames him for the incident. And he even blames himself.

On top of that, Moira is struggling with the fact she may end up losing her farm as the insurance refuses to pay because it was recklessness.

And because of the slurry, the water company decide they have to dredge the lake. Right where Nate’s arm is lurking, waiting to be found. So, of course, John becomes extremely panicked.

Will Harry be okay? Will Moira lose her farm? And will Nate be discovered?
