But it seems many now think the slow build will be worth it – as the storyline begins to ramp up. John has been getting away with his crimes for quite some time. And now, he’s beginning to unravel. But it seems the storyline finally seems to be picking up the pace. Ever since the arrival of Robert, John’s days have been numbered. Because somehow he is the only one to realise what’s going on – and he hasn’t even known John for very long. But fans are finally happy with the way it’s looking. And all because Robert is finally taking it in a new direction. One wrote: “The slow burn is finally paying off. And it was the perfect time to reintroduce Robert. The audience are fully backing him to suss John out and bring him down. I didn’t realise how much John needed some genuine opposition in someone like Robert, who has his own shady past and ruthless streak. I would actually love John to stay to be honest. I find him very compelling – but they can drop the marriage to Aaron.” However, it seems not everyone is on board just yet. And some actually wish it wasn’t Robert who will discover the extent of John’s actions. But could someone else take him down? But I am going to disagree with the majority and say that I wish Mackenzie was the one to bring him down. They have had a rivalry pretty much from John’s first episode so the dislike between them feels earned. Plus, Mack has already been suspicious of him.” A second agreed: “I hope he ends up confessing to Paddy via the helpline chat thing and Paddy works with Robert to piece it together.” “I actually don’t think Robert will be the one to expose him. I think he is suspicious but because of his connection to Aaron, everyone will just think he is jealous and causing trouble. I think it will be Paddy, Mack, Aaron or Vic.
