It’s a hugely dramatic week in the Dales as John’s secrets threaten to ruin his big day with Aaron. So far, each episode has began with John having visions of something going wrong. From being arrested to Aidan interrupting, he has had a lot of fears. But tonight’s episode has been mysteriously held back from ITVX. And while some think Robert Sugden may be making an appearance, others are convinced John kills someone major. And to avoid news of the death spreading before release, it won’t air early. He murdered Nate, is the reason Aidan is in a coma (again), and tormented Chas – and that’s not even all he has done. So it’s no surprise that he may be feeling on edge about everything. John has proved that he will do whatever it takes to keep his secret. When he thought Mack was onto him, he tampered with the slurry machine so everyone would blame Mack. And that’s why Emmerdale isn’t on ITVX early. Over the last few weeks, Mack, Cathleen, Aidan and Belle have all gotten very close to John’s secrets. John may be angry that Aaron Dingle has just called off the wedding – so does he take the final blow to someone? Why is Emmerdale not on ITVX early today? (Credit: ITV) Has John killed again? Fans took to a Reddit thread to discuss why Emmerdale isn’t on ITVX early today. And some of them think someone important is dying. One fan wrote: “There must be something big happening. Maybe John finally gets exposed?” Another backed this up, adding: “I think John kills again.” A third added that while they believe it’s going to be a Robert return, that may be too predictable. They wrote: “I think it could be what we all think it is. But I am wondering if it’s something else? I wonder if John finally gets caught by someone. Or if something happens with another character?” If John does kill again, then it would have to be a huge character’s death that warrants Emmerdale removing itself from ITVX. So has someone found themselves in John’s firing line? Or has someone discovered his many secrets?
