Andy left the village in 2016 after going on the run from the police. He was a wanted man after Chrissie White framed him for the murder of her father. But with the return of Andy’s brother Robert, could we soon be seeing another Sugden back in the Dales? Here are all the clues that it could happen. Moira told Robert he reminded her of Andy (Credit: ITV) 1. Moira’s mention of Andy During Tuesday’s episode, Moira and Robert had a chat in the kitchen. Robert told her how working at the farm had been a lifeline to him. Moira responded in kind by telling him he was a good worker. Moira then told Robert: “You really remind me of Andy sometimes.” article continues below Read all the latest spoilers The mention of Andy’s name has fans believing it’s the soap’s way of hinting that we’ll soon be seeing the missing Sugden again. “Couldn’t help but notice more Andy mentions! Sarah needs her dad With Sarah having recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer, fans think it doesn’t make sense that her parents are not there to support her and called for Andy to make an appearance. Prior to the diagnosis, Sarah had been pursuing her dream of wanting to become a mum by starting IVF treatment. This dream was dashed when her cancer surgery went wrong. Doctors had to perform an emergency hysterectomy and Sarah is no longer able to carry her own baby. Although she told Charity that she is more of a mum to her than her real mum Debbie, we’re sure Sarah would like nothing more than to have her parents by her side during this tough time. Robert needs help bringing John down With Robert Sugden back in the fold, fans are even more desperate for Andy to come back too. Robert returned earlier this year, but was unsuccessful in stopping his ex Aaron Dingle from marrying his half-brother John. But Robert hasn’t given up on trying to bring John down – could he enlist Andy’s help? “Next on the list – Andy to return to the village, make some funny one liner about Rob going after his brother’s partner again… and then they both team up to take John down,” one fan commented. A ‘clue’ to a family reunion was also dropped last when when Victoria Sugden commented to Robert that she liked having family around as she’d been lonely before. Could that family be getting bigger? Kelvin Fletcher fuelled the speculation Last week, Kelvin Fletcher, who played Andy, stirred the pot when he commented on an Emmerdale post on Instagram. Underneath a clip of Robert and John arguing, Kelvin responded: “Don’t trust him Robert I’m telling you.” Naturally, fans went crazy for it and begun speculating if this was a clue that Kelvin was heading back into the Emmerdale fold.
