And some spotted a key sign that indicates it may be closer than we think. Robert and Aaron broke up six years ago, when Robert Sugden cut off all contact with those he loved most while in prison. But that never stopped Emmerdale fans from hoping one day their beloved Robron would reunite. That time has finally come – just as Aaron has married someone else. But it seems he may be secretly happy about his ex-husband’s return. Which has left fans delighted. Robert has returned (Credit: ITV) Robron reunited after six years in Emmerdale Robert made his highly-anticipated return on Aaron and John’s wedding day. But things didn’t go his way, and Aaron went ahead and married John Sugden, adamant that Robert was his past. But before he made that decision, he did kiss him. And then he went to visit him in prison. Yes, he told him that he loves John and Robert should stay away. He made it clear to them that he wasn’t going anywhere and he had every intention on winning his family back. While John was clearly seething at this development, Aaron appeared to be trying to stop himself from smiling. As soon as he looked at John, he tried to cover himself and pretend he was annoyed. But it wasn’t unnoticed by fans. Fans think Aaron was actually happy to see Robert (Credit: ITV) Fans spot key sign that Aaron loves Robert Taking to X, many fans took Aaron’s reaction as a sign that Robron will be back on very soon. Especially as Aaron himself told Robert that he couldn’t “trust” himself around him. One wrote: “Aaron Dingle, that’s not the face of a man who isn’t happy his ex-husband is back.” Another commented: “The mask is slipping Aaron. And we can see it.” “That’s not how you look when you’re shocked Aaron. You are so obvious. Look at his little smile.” A Robron fan penned: “The way Aaron doesn’t even look mad.
