And this is set to send Vanity fans wild. As Charity wallowed over not being able to hold on to Sarah’s embryo, she got drunk and it was Vanessa who picked her up. But what happened next sent shockwaves. Charity and Vanessa had an unexpected kiss in 2017 and the rest is history (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Charity and Vanessa’s Emmerdale history ‘Vanity’ shared their first kiss in 2017 before getting together properly and getting engaged. However Emmerdale broke fans’ hearts in 2020 when the couple split for good after Charity cheated with Mackenzie Boyd. Vanessa temporarily left the village. But she returned in 2021 and the pair stayed friends. Every time they are in a scene together fans go wild. And Emma Aktins, who plays Charity, recently spoke about the possibility of a Charity and Vanessa reunion: “I think when they do have scenes together, there’s always that potential for an opening again, a reconnection, because they get on so well as friends. “There’s always that spark and you never know… It’s a joy to work with Michelle (Hardwick). Blaming herself, Charity rejected Mack’s attempts to make her feel better. In fact, she started a huge fight with him and threw him out of the house. As he drowned his sorrows with Aaron, she drowned hers alone. But Vanessa found her and decided to take her home and help. It wasn’t long before Charity was lamenting chosing Mack over Vanessa. And when Vanessa said she could sleep in Tracy’s bed for the night to cool down, Charity invited her to join her. She then leaned in for a kiss and Vanessa responded!
