Robert returned on Aaron and John’s wedding day, sending them both into a spiral at the news that he’d been released from prison. As Aaron rushed to put out the fire, he and Robert shared a kiss, confirming Rob’s mindset that he’d made the right decision. Aaron told Robert to stay away (Credit: ITV) Robert confessed his love for Aaron in Emmerdale this week – but he’s staying with John However, Aaron insisted that his future lies with John, and sent Robert packing. All the way back to prison in fact, after calling the police to inform them that Rob had missed a probation hearing. Robert wouldn’t stay away for long though. Soon after, he began bothering the newlyweds via the post, sending a prison visiting order to Aaron. Learning how poorly Robert was coping inside, Aaron paid his ex a visit – telling him to stay away, once and for all. But Robert was left more determined than ever after his second visit from the day; a menacing John, who ruined everything by trying to threaten Robert. (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans choose between John and Robron In an exclusive poll for Emmerdale Insider, soap fans were asked to vote on who they thought Robert should be with. Unsurprisingly and inevitably, responders voted overwhelmingly for a Robron reunion. Out of everyone polled, a whopping 86% of the vote demanded Robert and Aaron get back together. Meanwhile, 7% thought he should be with neither toxic Sugden – and find someone new instead. This left poor John out in the cold, lagging behind with a meagre 6% of the vote. So there you have it!
