So much so that he may even start working against him. Graham’s return was shockingly revealed in Corriedale, when he followed Joe to the hospital to make sure he was okay. And not long after, Emmerdale show boss confirmed he will be back full-time at some point in the future. While fans wait for that moment, everyone’s minds are full of possible storylines. But one main one seems to be that things won’t exactly be normal between Joe and Graham. Graham has returned (Credit: ITV) Could Graham plot against Joe? With Graham’s return to Home Farm inevitable in the near future, Emmerdale fans are concerned that things could be very tense. Joe and Graham were extremely close, they had quite the father-son relationship. So, when Graham died, Joe clearly lost someone he cares deeply about. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Since his own return to Emmerdale in 2024, Joe has been making a whole lot of questionable decisions. From stealing a kidney, to now blackmailing Robert to frame Moira, fans have been wondering if his time on the show is nearly up. But with the return of Graham, things could all potentially change. Knowing how close Moira is to Rhona – someone Graham loved deeply, Emmerdale fans are now wondering if he will work against Joe to keep Rhona happy. Taking to X and Reddit, fans discussed the possibilities for Graham and Joe’s Emmerdale future. One penned: “I just can’t imagine Joe being fine with Graham faking his death, and Graham being fine with everything Joe is doing to Moira. I can’t help feeling that it’s all going to be messy and their relationship might be ruined. And I think Graham will realise what Joe has been doing and will work against him to save Moira (Especially if he still loves Rhona!).” Another agreed: “I do think there is going to be a lot of fire between them. But I do hope, maybe after some time, that Graham and Joe do have that bond again. Even if it isn’t the same. It could be something that will help them both.” However, one Emmerdale fan didn’t seem to keen on the fact that Graham is even returning. They penned: “I think Graham being alive at all is ridiculous. We saw him die. He was dead. Fans are already convinced he is the mystery person Rhona has been texting, which brings a lot of questions itself. And just last week Joe finally admitted that he thought he saw Graham at the Corriedale crash. And while Dawn made him see that he was just missing him, viewers finally got some more answers on how he faked his death. DI Dent made her reappearance, and after convincing Joe that Graham is indeed dead, she made a phone call to someone – not suspicious at all. But either way, we can’t wait to see Graham return to our screens once and for all. Because let’s face it, Graham and Joe sharing scenes in 2026 will be iconic.
