Weeks we’ve waited for the reason and what their connection actually is. But we have yet to be told anything. In fact, when he was quizzed as to what he was doing during Corriedale he clammed up and refused to answer. All of which makes the mystery even more juicy! So when will we get answers? Graham was doing something dodgy with Jodie (Credit: ITV) Graham had Jodie tied up in the back of his van in Emmerdale and Coronation Street crossover In Corriedale on Monday January 5 there was a mystery man with an unknown woman tied up in his van. During the crash, his van got caught up in the aftermath. But it wasn’t until Joe Tate arrived at the scene when the man got out of his vehicle. There was a huge explosion and Joe fell back and hit his head. And when he woke up, he clearly saw something he couldn’t explain. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers By the time the mystery man got back to his van, he discovered the woman he had tied up was gone. And he wasn’t happy about it. However, he seemed to be more concerned with making sure Joe was okay. He was next seen at the hospital watching Joe’s room. And that’s when we finally got to see his face. The one and only, Graham Foster. Graham made a phone call, explaining to someone that he has something else he needs to do, and that the woman got away. We now know that woman was Jodie, the sister of Coronation Street’s Shona Platt. But we have absolutely no idea how she and Graham are connected. We again got a glimpse of Jodie when Graham came back to help Rhona. After he had beat up Ray, Rhona called Graham off so we saw him get back in his van and tell Jodie they were getting on their way. That led us to the Corriedale crash. Why was Jodie in the back of his van? (Credit: ITV) An explanation is coming! Despite the fact Graham has refused to talk about anything to do with that night, and Corrie hasn’t given us a single clue either, we now know they haven’t forgotten about it. Olivia Frances Brown who plays Jodie in Corrie, recently told Radio Times answers are on their way. “Eventually, you will [find out],” she confirmed when quizzed on the Jodie Graham connection. “I can’t give away too much right now, but it will all become clear in time. “I can’t say how long, how much time, but eventually, if you keep watching, you’ll find out why.” Phew! Until then we’ll just have to keep on guessing! Theories on the conection between Graham and Jodie Emmerdale fans certainly have their theories on the link between Graham and Jodie... Is Graham in Emmerdale Jodie's dad in Corrie? Fans are convinved he is actually her dad, with one saying: "I'm wondering if Graham from Emmerdale is the father of Shona and Jodie from Corrie!" "OMG Graham is Shona and Jodie's dad," declared a second. A third added: "It's gonna turn out that Shona and Jodie are Graham from Emmerdale's daughters, isn’t it?" But that begs the questions, why would he have tied her up in the back of a van? For some that fits with the abusive partner theory. Abusive partner Jodie has fed Shona a tale that she has an abusive ex-partner that she was able to escape from on the night of the crash. We know she stole that story from someone at a domestic abuse support group, but could Graham be her ex? "I said about week ago Graham may have been an ex or partner of Jodie," said one. "So Jodie's abusive ex is maybe Graham?" queried another. However someone else pointed out: "Graham's not like that. Unless he does it for a woman's safety - as in they're a danger to themselves, that sort of thing." So could it all tie in to who Graham was working for? "Was Jodie and Graham working for Ray and Celia?" asked a fan. "I think Graham was in business with Celia, bringing new 'recruits' such as Jodie, in the van," agreed another. "A brill twist would be if Graham turns out to have been Celia's muscle, retrieving runaway slaves. Literally no one believes Celia and Ray ran the whole racket by themselves," added a third.
