However the appearance drew quite a few comparisons from fans who think he bears a striking resemblance to one other cast member. So are they related? The boys bickered in true brotherly fashion and it brought a smile to everyone’s faces. When Isaac when then told to get to school he replied he’d do anything to get out of house work! Isaac immediately smelled a rat and asked: “Has someone died?” Cain led him through to the back room where he proceeded to tell his sons about his cancer diagnosis. Both kids acted their little socks off, but Isaac was super cute when he asked if cancer was scary and said he wanted his mum. (Credit: ITV) So, is Isaac Dingle related to Joe Tate in Emmerdale in real life? Isaac Dingle is eight years old. He was born on October 2, 2017, so will turn nine later this year. Isaac has been played by a series of different actors, with three actors playing him whilst he was a baby. Harvey Brook, Elias Walker and Bobby Dunsmuir all have acted the part. Now, Bobby continues to play Isaac as he grows older. Bobby turned eight in July 2024, so he is a few months older than his on-screen alter ego. Meanwhile Joe Tate is played by Ned Porteous.
