Bear Wolf is discovered in Emmerdale tonight, but it’s not a time for rejoicing because a twist means it’s not over for him yet. Viewers know he is being held captive by Ray Walters and Celia Daniels in a Modern Slavery storyline. However those closest to him have only just realised something might have happened to him. So, will anyone discover the truth about where Bear really is and save him? It certainly doesn’t seem likely tonight… Bear is being held in captivity (Credit: ITV) Bear Wolf disappears in Emmerdale In a heartbreaking standalone episode that aired earlier this week, Bear’s lost 100 days were revealed. The last we’d seen of him was in July where he’d been experiencing some sort of breakdown that led to a huge behaviour change. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers He was lashing out at his family and turned on Paddy calling him weak and pathetic after he was attacked by a dog. The insults were the final straw for Paddy who threw his dad out. As far as he knew Bear then went to stay with old wrestling pals in Ireland. But viewers were aware he never made it, though they didn’t know what had become of him. Last week a package arrived for Bear that revealed he hadn’t even seen his Irish friends. Paddy started to worry and after calling round several people it became clear Bear was missing. But the police don’t think he is at risk so aren’t doing a lot. We then saw where Bear is: he was taken in by Ray who acting kind and helpful at first. But then things turned and it became clear Bear is trapped in a situation he can’t get out of – locked in a rundown barn and doing farm work at Ray and Celia’s demand. Young Eve spots her grandad (Credit: ITV) Bear spotted in ITVX episode In tonight’s episode Paddy hits another brick wall when the car rental company can’t give any further details about Bear. They confirm he hired a car and that he dropped it back earlier than expected, plus it was in a complete mess. We know he was living in the vehicle and in fact Ray took it back for him. Though the car company won’t provide CCTV footage so Paddy doesn’t know that. Meanwhile, Eve is playing with Isaac Dingle and they are being looked after by Matty Barton. He suggests they play a game of going on a bear hunt. Suddenly Eve sees Bear across the fields and shouts out to her grandad. But Matty doesn’t see anything except for a van driving away. Eve is certain Bear got into the van, but she is dismissed. When Matty takes her home, upset, everyone heartbreakingly assumes she’d got confused about the game they were playing. They insist she can’t actually have seen her grandad, despite the fact she is adament she did. Anya is in a bad way (Credit: ITV) What happens next? It seems that no one really believes her – but can she convince them she is right? Next week we know Bear is still in Ray’s captivity. He is looking after Anya, who is in a bad way. Ray isn’t interested and orders Bear back to work. However he does promise antibiotics. Ray allows Bear to stay with her, especially after finding out she has a daughter and it becomes clear her condition is life-threatening.
