And tomorrow night’s spoilers aren’t looking too good for the doctor. In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale (April 2) Ella’s stalking seemed to intensify as Liam and Chas’ wedding was cancelled by a fake email address. Then, a pub window was smashed. And when everyone went to check on it, Ella was standing at a distance watching them speak to the police. And spoilers for tomorrow night show danger is imminent for Dr Liam as Ella makes me her move. But as Chas realised just how dangerous Ella is, fans worry Liam is leaving the soap. But Ella doesn’t take no for an answer as she decides to hold Mandy hostage until Liam agrees to come over. Which he does. As the pair speak, she once again tries to make him believe that she is being framed (many of us agree with this). Liam decides to play her, making out that they should put everything behind them and get back together. However, Ella isn’t stupid and sees through his lies. But he should have known that would only make the situation worse… Elle grabs a knife when Mandy and Chas arrive. But she quickly flees from the house. However, Liam is hot on her heels trying to catch up. They make it to the woods where a confrontation takes place. Ultimately, Ella shoves Liam which causes him to fall and hit his head pretty badly. Horrified that she may have killed him, Ella sobs over his body. But is he dead? And is Liam actor Jonny McPherson leaving Emmerdale? Has Ella killed Liam? (Credit: ITV) Is Liam leaving Emmerdale? For a while there have been fears that we are losing our favourite doctor (sorry, Manpreet!). Ever since he gained that head injury in the limo crash many have been worried his days are numbered. Jonny McPherson spoke about the potential of Liam dying, which didn’t exactly ease anyone’s nerves. Speaking about the showdown, he said: “He’s not frightened for his life. He knows if it came to it, he could overpower Ella. But he still wants to help her. He still wants to give her a cuddle and tell her that everything is going to all right. But that has pretty dire consequences.” And when he thinks of his future on the soap, he is aware that it’s hard to think about the long-game as anyone could be killed off at any point. He said: “Acting is a precarious game. Nobody has got any guarantees of longevity on a soap. If and when the time comes, you have got to do the best you can with it.” We’ve got our fingers crossed that murderer Ella won’t strike again!
