This comes as he fell ill during his frantic search for daughter April, developing a nasty cough. In a week of ups and downs for Marlon, he learned that April is alive – and living rough on the streets of Leeds. He took off in hot pursuit, finding Ross there too. The pair made amends, but April remains elusive, her whereabouts unknown. Marlon may not have found April, but he did pick something up from on the streets – a nasty bug. As he coughed and spluttered all over the pub (seriously, cover your mouth) fans are convinced that he might have pneumonia. And the popular diagnosis was that of pneumonia for Marlon. “Could it be Marlon in the grave? He could end up with pneumonia and end up dying from it. Just a theory,” predicted one fan, invoking one of the five flash-forwards. “Marlon will end up with Pneumonia,” said another. “All the shouting has given Marlon a bad cough now, pneumonia storyline coming soon for Marlon,” wrote a third. “Was Marl’s pneumonia brought on by over-acting???” another joked, somewhat uncharitably.
