Robert recently crashed John and Aaron’s wedding in a bid to win back in ex-husband, but failed to do so. He’s heading back to the Dales ‘for good’ though, and fans are desperate for Robert to be reunited with his little family again like in the good ol’ days. Robert is coming back ‘for good’ (Credit: ITV) Robert’s return to Emmerdale village Last month, Robert Sugden returned to the Dales and shocked the whole village (and viewers) by gatecrashing John and Aaron’s wedding. Robert tried to stop Aaron from marrying John, telling him that he’s always loved him and even missed his probation meeting to stop him from ‘making the biggest mistake’ of his life. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers After giving Robert both a punch and a kiss (yes, both), Aaron Dingle decided to go ahead with his marriage to John as planned. Robert then dragged his feet back to the bus stop, pondering his next move. But, his next move was made for him by PC Swirling who arrested him for missing his probation meeting. Never fear though, while Robert’s now locked up back inside, he won’t stay there for long as he gears up to return to the soap on a permanent basis. Yay! We haven’t seen Seb in years (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans demand Seb White return to soap With Robert about to come back to the soap properly, fans are now hoping that Robert will not only reunite with Aaron but will also reunite with his son Seb. This would mean that their little family would be back together again (minus Liv, sob). Taking to their socials, fans are now calling for a Seb return. And, we think it’s the next logical step. Taking to Reddit, one Emmerdale viewer asked: “With Robert returning on a permanent basis, do you think at some point we will see his son Seb back in the village too?” Another replied: “Oh 100%. I think that’s why they mentioned him and why they killed off Rebecca so we could have a storyline of Robert going for custody and the drama that causes with Ross.” Another fan on X shared: “If Robron got Seb back (please), this time no one can really take him away from them anymore. Rebecca is sadly dead so no custody battles. They’ll get to raise him like they wanted to so many years ago. He’s probably around 8 now so he’s probably a spitfire.” A final fan exclaimed: “Seb mention!
