But does she feel the same? And is her silence a huge clue that an affair is incoming? A lot has happened to Rhona since Graham ‘died’ six years ago, but their old spark hasn’t died – so are they about to embark on an affair? There’s no denying the chemistry between them was electric when they met again last month (Tuesday January 20). And tonight’s comfession (Thursday February 19) only compounded that. But with Rhona now married to Marlon Dingle, there’s only one way she can be with Graham again. And that will break Marlon’s heart. He found himself in her orbit after Kim Tate sent him to destroy the vet surgery as revenge on her son Jamie. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Rhona locked herself in with Graham and they talked and Graham ended up baring his soul to her. He revealed all about how he had been drunk driving and it resulted in a crash that killed his wife Cheryl and their unborn baby. The pair developed an understanding and Rhona urged him to stop doing Kim’s bidding and break free. He decided to do just that – with her. They began a relationship and when Kim found out she issued her usual threats. But Graham refused to be controlled and told Kim if she went near Rhona he would kill her. Marlon also wasn’t happy about Graham being around his son with Rhona, Leo. But Graham was besotted with Leo having had a Down’s syndrome brother himself.Don't miss a single story! Rhona and Graham soon decided to leave the village for a fresh start in France, taking Leo with them. Furious Marlon was not happy about it and although Rhona agreed to stay they were still secretly planning to go. This was how we last saw Graham in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV) Graham fakes his own death They never actually made it though because Graham was found dead days later. There were multiple suspects, but Marlon ended up in prison over it. Until it was discovered Rhona’s evil ex, rapist Pierce Harris, was the culprit. Fast forward six years and in January 2026 it was revealed Graham wasn’t dead at all. In fact he had faked his own death and started a new life abroad. He returned to face Rhona last night and revealed he had done it to protect her from murderous Kim. He’d enlisted the help of former SAS colleagues, one of whom was DI Dent who bribed everyone involved in the investigation to pretend Graham was dead. Graham has been living abroad working as someone who solves problems the police can’t. And it was through this line of work that he discovered April was in trouble. He knew he needed to return to help Rhona and her family. There’s clearly something still there between Graham and Rhona in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV) An affair brewing for Emmerdale’s Rhona and Graham It was very clear as Rhona came face to face with Graham in her flashback episode that old feelings die hard. She might be married to Marlon now, but that pull to Graham was definitely still there. And as for Graham? He has risked everything to come out of hiding after six years just to save someone close to Rhona. If that’s not love, we don’t know what is! Graham even remembers exactly how she takes her tea. And it was during this scene that there was one huge clue an affair is on the cards. As Graham left the cups to brew, he told her he knew how she likes her tea before questioning: “Unless your tastes have changed?” Rhona looked at him and said nervously: “They haven’t.” We don’t think they were talking about the tea! Is an affair incoming? Fans on social media certainly seem to think – and hope – so. “Oooh great episode today. Rhona is much more interesting around Graham. Good chemistry. Affair coming methinks…” shared one on social media. Another added: “I hate to say it.. but I’m on board with a Rhona and Graham affair.” A third wrote: “The chemistry between Rhona and Graham! I feel an affair incoming.” Graham told Rhona he loves her (Credit: ITV) Graham confesses his love in Emmerdale – and there was another clue Rhona feels the same On Thursday (February 19) Graham took the bull by the horns and went to see Rhona. He told her he is still in love with her. Rhona was speechless and told him he had no right to dig up the past. “Are you imagining I feel the same?” she asked him. “Have you actually asked me if I still love you?” she raged. “Do you?” Graham asked. Rhona took a deep breath and said: “I love Marlon. And Leo and Ivy and April. Do you really think I would give up my family for some fantasy I had years ago?” She then threw him out. But it was what Rhona DIDN’T say that mattered. She did not say: “No I don’t love you”. She did not deny it, she merely said she loved her family. Two things can be true at the same time and we reckon that was a BIG clue to an incoming affair. As one person pointed out on social media: “Waitttt I can so get behind on this Rhona/Graham relationship because she never said she didn’t love him and that is some delicious TV.” Delicious indeed.
