This comes amid his ongoing rivalry with Mack, which led to a dangerous slurry leak breaking out on the farm. And, as Mack takes the blame for the ongoing destruction, John looks on, feeling smug. However, his sense of glee soon turns to guilt when the leak spreads into the village water supply. And, as paramedics rush Harry to hospital, John is consumed with regret. Will Harry pull through, or has John claimed another life? Elsewhere, Moira wonders whether Ross is having second thoughts about giving his brother the brush-off. Will he let Lewis into his life? Mack takes the blame for the slurry leak in Emmerdale spoilers So we all saw John Sugden try to get one over on Mackenzie when he caused a leak in the slurry tanker. But his plot is about to take a dark turn that even he didn’t intend when the spillage is discovered. At first John is thrilled because his nasty plan comes together and Mack is blamed for what has happened. Moira is furious with her brother’s apparent carelessness. John the hero then swoops into action to help out and ‘save’ Mack’s bacon. But what no one could have foreseen is that the impact of the slurry leak is far worse than just a smell on the farm. In fact, John soon learns Harry has been taken suddenly ill. Just how bad is this? And can John keep up the lie that Mack was responsible? John struggles with his guilt John’s guilt soon turns to regret when Cain reveals that the slurry leak has bled into the village water supply. As an ambulance pulls up, paramedics rush young Harry to hospital after drinking some of the water. John watches helplessly as Victoria accompanies Harry to the hospital. But will Harry be okay? And will John come clean about his part in the disaster? 3. Is Ross having doubts? After having decided not to pursue a family reunion, Ross has let go of estranged brother Lewis.
