But it’s not going to be easy and they have a lot of hurdles to cross first. Meanwhile, Gail is still smarting after Charity dismissed her ideas. However when she comes up with something new, she’s thrilled. Will Charity go for it though? Here’s the lowdown on what’s happening in Emmerdale on Friday May 2. 1. Ruby vows to help Steph On Thursday night things became very dark as Steph hit rock bottom. She was so distraught over being stopped from having surgery she lashed out at Ross. Insulting and attacking him, she then raced off with a bottle of vodka. Ruby and Caleb found her locked her in car with a broken bottle about to cut her face. That way no one could refuse her surgery. Fortunately they managed to stop her, but it is clear she needs proper help. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Ruby said she would confess to the police so Steph didn’t have to live in fear of blowing the Anthony murder secret and could talk openly. But Caleb refused to allow her to do it. Ruby and Caleb vow to get their girl the help she needs. But will they take Joe’s offer of a therapist? Or can they not risk trusting him again? Ruby makes a decision and the family gather the murder club to tell them everything. But will everyone go along with what is being planned? Gail is desperately trying to impress Charity (Credit: ITV) 2. Gail has a plan in Emmerdale spoilers After failing to impress Charity with her ideas for a theme night, Gail is feeling even more rejected than ever. She feels put upon and like she is worth much more than the Woolpack is offering her. Keen to prove herself, Gail spends more time focusing on a plan for a special night at the pub. And when she hits on an idea, she is super excited. But will Charity go for it? It’s not long before we’ll be saying goodbye to Gail, so could another rejection from Charity lead to her departure from the Dales for good? And where does that leave her and Ryan? Tracy has no idea John killed Nate (Credit: ITV) 3. Tracy is confused in Emmerdale spoilers With Cain planning to go to Shetland and confront Nate, Moira is not sure it’s the best idea. But he is determined this has to end now. John was obviously shaken when Tracy revealed Cain’s plans and before too long Tracy is left baffled when something unexpected happens. Is John behind this?
