Nate’s funeral puts pressure on everyone It’s the day of Nate’s funeral and Cain, Tracy and John are getting ready in their homes for the day ahead. It is clear they are all dreading what they have to face, but for different reasons. On Wednesday (July 16) Cain discovered Tracy was getting Nate’s life insurance. He saw it as a clear motive for murder and confronted her. He told her he and the Dingles were attending the funeral whether she liked it or not. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Nate’s mum, Cara, also showed up and believes Cain is responsible for Nate’s death – one way or another. She nailed her colours firmly to Tracy’s mast and told Cain he was a disgrace. Cara also doesn’t want him at the funeral. So, the pressure is mounting, but can they keep it together and give Nate the send-off he deserves? Tracy is desperate to defend herself (Credit: ITV) 2. DS Walsh shakes things up in Emmerdale spoilers As Tracy waits outside the church for Nate’s body to arrive, she is shaken to see DS Walsh get out of her car. As the Dingles then arrive en masse, looking in no mood to be messed with, Tracy feels like everything is overwhelming her. An argument breaks out, which makes Tracy feel even more under scrutiny as it’s clear Walsh is watching her every move. All eyes are on John as he delivers Nate’s eulogy (Credit: ITV) 3. John cracks Unable to stand the arguing any longer, John steps in. He gives an emotional plea for everyone to come together and honour Nate. he asks that no one is banned and no more rowing. Everyone realises he is right and they head into the church for the service. But John is thrown when he is roped into reading Tracy’s eulogy for her as she can’t cope. Under the intense spotlight and watched by DS Walsh, John starts to struggle. It looks like the pressure is finally going to get to him as he prepares to confess… Paddy can’t cope with a dog (Credit: ITV) 4. A panic attack stops Paddy in his tracks in Emmerdale spoilers After his dog attack, Paddy has been struggling. Rhona and Vanessa have stepped in to treat all the pooches that come into the vets, but tonight Paddy is left alone at work. He assures Mandy he can cope, but it’s clear that’s not the case. Although things go well at first, when a big dog arrives to be seen Paddy freezes. He immediately shuts the surgery, unable to treat the dog. Totally paralysed with fear, Paddy is not okay. But will anyone help him? 5. Joe under pressure from Crowley’s demands After Joe failed to convince Kim to invest in his bogus solar scheme, he told Crowley there was no way he’d get the money out of his step-gran and he’d better just go. But Crowley was having none of Joe’s excuses and handed him a sedative that could “take down a bull”. He wanted Joe to drug Kim like he had been and force her to hand over her money that way.
