But he’s not the only one harbouring secrets as Charity starts to question whether she’s doing the right thing. Mack and Charity are divided over her offer to be a surrogate for Sarah (Credit: ITV) Charity and Mack are on the rocks in Emmerdale spoilers Charity’s decision to act as a surrogate for Sarah has put a huge strain on her marriage to Mack. Not only was Mack one of the last to find out what his wife had chosen to do, he wasn’t even consulted first. Mack’s also hurt by the fact Charity would so readily offer to have a baby for Sarah when she’s always refused to have one with him. Last week, the farmhand issued Charity with a stinging ultimatum – warning if she went ahead with the surrogacy plan then they were finished! Aaron can see how stressed his mate is and urges Mack to be honest with Charity about how he really feels. Mack takes his advice on board and makes a frantic dash to the fertility clinic. But by the time he gets there it’s already too late because Charity has undergone the procedure that Sarah hopes will result in a pregnancy. As the rest of the Dingles celebrate, Mack kicks himself at missing the chance to tell Charity the truth.
