April feels overwhelmed in Emmerdale spoilers

April’s time living rough on the streets has had a lasting impact on her and her family. The teen has tried her best to get back to normal life, but the memories of what she went through are never far away. Weighing heaviest on her heart is the loss of her baby daughter Rebecca, who died moments after birth.

The return to school hasn’t been easy either. With exam season in full swing, April can’t find the focus to knuckle down and revise for her GCSEs.

Marlon is broken-hearted to hear April has suffered a panic attack in the middle of one of her exams. He talks to the school about how the can best support April. But another idea forms when Belle suggests April might benefit from repeating Year 11.

Belle offers April a job at Take-A-Vow

With school out for summer, April suddenly has a lot of free time on her hands.

She decides she’d like to take on a job, and kind-hearted Belle comes to the rescue by offering her a trial at Take-A-Vow.

April’s first assignment is to film a christening for some clients. But when she arrives at the ceremony, she catches sight of someone she hoped she’d never see again.

April is left frozen with fear when she realises the father of the baby being christened is someone she recognises from the past.

It was one of the disgusting men who threatened to urinate on her while she was living rough. Seeing his face fills April with fear and hatred as she remembers the cruelty he and his mates showed to her when she was at her lowest point.

Meanwhile, Marlon and Mary watch on with pride as April continues to record the event, unaware it’s all about to kick off. What will April do to the man who made her life a misery?
