Will he go down for a crime he didn’t commit while Nate’s killer John Sugden gets away with it? Tracy discovers the body in the lake was Nate (Credit: ITV) Nate’s body has been found in Emmerdale spoilers The village has been rocked by the dark discovery of a body in the lake. Ruby Fox-Miligan and the rest of the murder club fear that it’s Anthony, but viewers already know it’s Nate Robinson. Frankie’s father was last seen in September when he was about to leave for a new job in Shetland. But he never made it that far after being accidentally killed by John. The medic disposed of Nate’s corpse in the lake and hoped he’d never be found. But secrets don’t stay buried forever. After identifying the remains as Nate, the police launch their murder investigation. And first up they have to inform Nate’s next of kin. Tracy is told first, then the police head to Butlers to deliver the harrowing news to Cain and Moira. She recalls how Cain wrongly accused Nate of having an affair with Moira and attacked him in a fit of rage. This revelation puts Cain in the frame for Nate’s death and he’s hauled down the station for questioning. Cain is unable to control his rage as the investigating officers delve into his relationship with Nate. But will it succeed in making him look more guilty? The rest of the family feel the same as they begin to consider what motive Cain had for wanting rid of Nate. Later, Cain returns to the village and offers Tracy his support. He’s full of remorse over how he treated Nate, which sets Tracy’s mind whirring. She shares her suspicions with sister Vanessa, but will she also believe Cain is capable of murder? But will this clear his name? Or is he going to be charged with murder?
