Robert is on a mission to expose John's true colours
John gets an unwanted surprise in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers when Robert returns to the village. As battle lines are drawn between the brothers, Robert realises John is hiding secrets from his past and vows to destroy him!
Aaron betrays John with Robert in Emmerdale spoilers
After his dramatic reappearance at Aaron and John’s wedding, Robert is back behind bars for breaking the terms of his bail. He’s desperate to see Aaron again and makes a call to Victoria asking if she can persuade him.
Aaron decides it’s not a good idea so Vic goes to see Robert alone. But she’s horrified to find her brother has been attacked by his fellow inmates. Victoria reports back to Aaron on Robert’s injuries and he feels awful for snubbing his ex.
While Victoria struggles to think of a way she can help Robert, Aaron’s guilt leads him to have a change of heart. Putting his new marriage at risk, Aaron deceives John and pays Robert a visit…
Robron are reunited
Coming face-to-face again in the prison waiting room, Robert confesses his love for Aaron. He’s sure they can move on from the past and make a go of it, but Aaron is adamant John is the only man he wants.

When his pleas continue to fall on deaf ears, Robert is forced to admit defeat. Devastated, Robert agrees he’ll leave Aaron alone from now on – but will he actually stay true to his word? Of course not! Robron belong together!
Meanwhile, John is on the warpath after realising Aaron went to see Robert. He decides to take matters into his own hands and heads off to the prison to confront his half-sibling.
John threatens Robert in Emmerdale spoilers
Tensions are high as John and Robert face-off against one another. Rob refuses to be intimidated and spitefully tells John that if their father Jack were still alive then he’d want nothing to do with him.
Robert then drops a bombshell on John, revealing how he kissed Aaron on their wedding day! This shock news leaves John on the edge of explosion and he gets up to leave, before warning Robert he has no idea what he’s capable of.
But John may live to regret issuing such a threat because now Robert is convinced he’s hiding something. Is he onto the secret killer?
Emmerdale spoilers: Robert returns to the village
John’s worst fears are soon realised when Robert arrives back in Emmerdale, ready to reclaim his man.
He rocks up at the couple’s home, declaring he’s come home to spend time with his family, but John knows he’s back for Aaron. Realising Robert isn’t going anywhere, John feels like he’s losing control. And an out-of-control John Sugden is a very dangerous thing.
