The weather might have turned again, but Emmerdale spoilers are heating up with a major stunt, a shock coupling and more new arrivals in the form of the Tates and Sugdens to look forward to.

This week on-screen has been packed full of more drama as Kim pulled out of the Woolpack purchase and left Charity with no way to pay Todd. She tried to rob Home Farm, but then ended up stealing from Caleb and the depot and letting Noah take the blame.

Much-needed light-relief this week was provided by Laurel and Ross whose affair has been a joy to watch.

Spoilers for Sunday June 7 to Friday, June 12 reveal there is horror in store for Charity when Dr Todd sexually assaults her.

Also next week, Lydia confronts Sam believing he’s having an affair with Laurel, and Archie scams Caleb out of £5k.

Beyond this, we can also look forward to watching some big storylines finally reaching their end, some huge characters may be saying goodbye – and some other villagers getting a chance to shine.

1. Big stunt coming this summer

Emmerdale loves a stunt and this summer is no different. Show boss Laura Shaw has confirmed something is coming and it’s going to be huge.

“It’s going to drop a big, massive bombshell on the village,” she told the latest issue of Inside Soap. “That is going to change lives forever.”

With no more details, we have no idea who it will involve and what the consequences will be, but Emmerdale never fails to deliver on these things, right?

2. More Tates and Sugdens on their way to Emmerdale!

In the same interview Laura said her focus is on building out the Tate and Sugden families. She said she wants the show to remember Sarah is a Sugden and with Jacob having the Sugden name it puts them firmly in that camp.

“There’s going to be a couple of arrivals to strengthen both the Tate and Sugden clans,” she confirmed, without giving away who.

Talk has immediately turned online to the possibility of either a Jamie Tate return. Or the comeback of Zoe Tate’s daughter, Jean, who Joe grew up with in New Zealand. Or could it be another Tate we’ve never even heard of before?

3. Sadie King is back in Emmerdale spoilers

Emmerdale confirmed on Thursday May 14 the rumours are true: Patsy Kensit is making a comeback to the Yorkshire Dales.

Jimmy King‘s ex-wife first arrived in 2004 and departed in 2006. And boy did she cause trouble while she was there.

Of her return, show producer Laura Shaw said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Patsy Kensit back to the cast and crucially to see the iconic Sadie King storm back into the village.

“Her return will be explosive and guaranteed to shock. Sadie’s seductive demeanor, combined with her utterly ruthless nature, are set to deliver a spectacular and highly dramatic touch of class to the Yorkshire Dales.”

Patsy is equally as thrilled about her comeback. She said: “I am really excited to return to Emmerdale. I treasure the years I was here before.

“Sadie King is a character that I really loved playing. The cast and crew are absolutely brilliant and I am so grateful for the chance to return to the show, it’s absolutely amazing.”

4. Kev is also back!

Patsy’s return might have divided fans, but the news of Kev’s comeback is exactly what we’ve been waiting for! Chris Coghill is returning to Emmerdale as Kev Townsend later this year.

He will make a triumphant return to our screens, as his new business venture causes some trouble for the villagers.

After leaving the village to let Robert live out his life with Aaron, Kev will be back in the Emmerdale mix in no time.

Emmerdale producer, Laura Shaw confirmed: “Both Chris and the character of Kev made a massive impact on the show last year, so Chris is most definitely back by popular demand.

“With Kev’s son, Lewis, in the village still unaware of who his father is, it’s safe to say that there’s a lot of unfinished business and drama ahead.”

Chris also spoke about his Emmerdale return. He said: “I’m really pleased to be returning to Emmerdale. I had a brilliant time last year. Kev is a complex character that I love playing. He has psychopathic tendencies but also an energy and vulnerability that I think makes him pretty unique. I’m properly looking forward to getting back at it.”

We have been assured Kev is purely back for Lewis and will leave Robert and Aaron alone. Phew!

5. An exit for Dawn?

It was reported recently that Emmerdale has ‘axed’ Olivia Bromley as Dawn Fletcher after eight years in the soap. A source told The Sun: “Olivia is adored by everyone at Emmerdale so the decision to axe her has not gone down well at all.

“She’s a popular member of the cast and if they can get rid of Olivia then the feeling is virtually no-one is safe.

“Olivia understood their decision and is preparing to film her exit in the coming months.”

The news of Olivia’s exit is said to have gone down badly with other members of the cast. Olivia’s set to film her leaving scenes later this year, however the exact date of her departure is unknown, but is likely to be around the summer time.

No details of her end storyline have been given, but she seems to have give Joe another chance after all his lying and scheming. But for how long?

6. What is Graham up to?

They might have given in to their passion recently, but Graham quickly regretted it and tried to kill Kim! She believes she accidentally took too many painkillers and it was a sign to slow down. However we know it was Graham.

He has said he is going to “try something else” to get rid of her, but Andrew Scarborough who plays Graham has revealed he’s not sure Graham does want to kill Kim. In fact, he thinks feelings are still there between them. So will this end in death or romance?

Graham is also secretly working with someone in this plot, so who is it? What is he up to overall? There must be more to come from his return…

7. Cain’s cancer fight

We have seen Cain find out he is battling aggressive prostate cancer. He has undergone a radical prostatectomy and knows that surgery could have serious side-effects including incontinence and erectile dysfunction.

Cain has survived the operation, but now the real fight comes as he battles to rebuild his life and face the after-effects. Can Cain cope with this?

He’s struggling with the side-effects right now and is embarrassed by it all. With Dr Liam urging him to leave his pride at the door, can Cain really do that?

8. Charity’s secret sees her lose everything in Emmerdale spoilers

Charity has so far kept her baby lie a secret, until Dr Todd found out. She is now blackmailing her and wants £100k for her silence.

Emma Atkins confirmed last month that things are going to keep going and get much darker. “There’s a trajectory that it’s going to keep going for some time,” she revealed on This Morning. The actress then teased the truth about the baby will come out, but she’s only being drip-fed parts of the storyline.

“[The secret] has to [come out] at some point, but it’s going to heat up. She’s [Todd] coming on to her patch in Emmerdale, she’s getting involved with Vanessa and she’s like ‘why are you here? What do you want?’. So it’s going to go quite dark, I think.”

We now know Charity will be sexually assaulted by Todd as the soap explores the subject of female-on-female sexual violence.

Charity still has her secret to keep covered up, so will she be able to admit what has happened to her? Or will she be forced to carry this totally alone?

9. Where does Charity’s heart lie?

Charity and Mack have been described as a “big love story” by Laura Shaw. But many fans still want to see her reunited with Vanessa Woodfield.

Charity is currently doing all she can to keep Todd away from Vanessa. Although that’s under the reasoning that she needs to keep her big baby secret, but are the sparks still there for Charity and V?

And can Charity and Mack make it when her secret does come out? Or will her dalliance with Ross be the end of them for good?

10. Kammy mum and sister to arrive in Emmerdale spoilers?

Kammy revealed the truth to Belle last week about why he was homeless. He confessed his dad had died when he was 15 and he had gone off the rails.

He started stealing cars and joyriding them until they’d run out of petrol. But his sister was worried about him and tried to take one of the cars back.

However she had an accident and the police got involved. Kammy took the blame. He was facing serious prison time, but the judge was lenient given the death of his dad and he didn’t go down.

But he was so ashamed of the pain he had caused his mother, he left his family.

So now we know Kammy has a mum and sister out there somewhere, and if we know Emmerdale, a story like this will only just be getting started.

With Kammy proving to be a popular character since his arrival a year ago, it makes sense for his family to arrive in the Dales too for a fresh start.

Fans certainly seem to think so on social media: “Will his family move to Dales?” queried one. Another added: “Bring in his family!”

“This is all leading to Kammy’s family eventually arriving,” said a third. A fourth wrote: “I’m excited about this I hope they bring [his sister] into it.”

11. Exit for Jimmy King?

The Sun has reported that Jimmy King is to be killed off after 22 years on the soap. Jimmy, played by Nick Miles since 2004, is set to exit later this year.

Although no official confirmation has appeared from Emmerdale, the story reports that his exit will tie in with ex-wife Sadie’s return to the village.

A source told the publication: “Everyone is shocked and it shows that no one is safe from the budget cuts.

“Bosses are under pressure to cut costs and sadly that means popular cast members being told their time is up.”

They added: “Once the decision was made that Nick would be leaving, the writers quickly realised his character wouldn’t abandon his wife and children so they had to kill him off.

“That’s what made them approach Patsy about returning.”

Jimmy is the last remaining of the four King brothers after Matthew, Carl and Max were also all killed off. Their dad Tom King also met his maker in a huge whodunnit.

12. Goodbye Vinny?

It was reported by The Sun recently that Vinny Dingle is leaving the soap in a move that is said to have left Lisa Riley, who plays his on-screen mum Mandy Dingle, “devastated”.

A source told the publication: “Bradley is a very popular member of the cast and especially close with his on-screen Dingle family.

“Everyone is shocked that bosses decided to axe him but it’s all part of the ITV cuts and they still need to trim back the cast.

“They are making less episodes so don’t need as many characters.”

They added: “Lisa is devastated. She adores Bradley and they have such a close bond. It just shows that no-one is safe.”

Emmerdale has made no comment.

Vinny was involved in a huge storyline last year where he married Gabby Thomas, but was questioning his own sexuality at the time. He ended up being beaten and extorted by a man he met on an online forum.

Gabby eventually found out when Vinny stood up in court. Despite trying to make their marriage work, the couple separated. He is now loved-up with Lewis Barton. But by the sounds of things that romance is not going to last.
