Chas is in the firing line when she butts heads with Ella, but who is behind her mysterious collapse? Meanwhile, we finally get the truth about Joe and Steph is back with a plan for the Anthony murder club. Here’s the pick of the plots for this week in Emmerdale. John races to help Chas after her collapse (Credit: ITV) Something’s wrong with Chas in this week’s Emmerdale spoilers It has become quite clear to John Sugden that Chas Dingle doesn’t really care for him. But he is determined to prove himself and become a vital part of the Dingle family. So he decides to plan a surprise engagement party for her and Liam to win her over. She’s definitely surprised and starts to enjoy herself. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers But then John proposes to Aaron and when Chas finds out she is less than happy. She shares her concerns with her son, but John overhears and stews on how to make her like him. Meanwhile, Ella is very anti Team Chas. She accidentally gatecrashes the engagement party and rants about her love rival to John. A spilled drink soon equals a public row between Ella and Chas and they are the talk of the village. Later, Chas collapses in the pub and hits her head. John rushes to her rescue. Will this make her like him a bit more? Was Ella to blame for Chas’ collapse? Or does John himself know more about this? What’s in the case? We’re about to find out (Credit: ITV) Joe’s health condition is finally revealed – to the audience It’s achingly clear something is very wrong with Joe Tate and finally we are going to find out what. Of course, no one on screen is going to know, but viewers will be let in on the secret. It all starts with him rebuffing Dawn’s romantic advances, focused on his mystery suitcase. And when he opens it, we see the contents. With Joe becoming increasingly unwell, Crowley visits him and it soon becomes clear Joe has a plan to get better. But what is it? And who does it involve? Steph’s back with a plan After discovering all about her mum’s abuse and her true dad, Steph has disappeared. Ruby and Caleb are worried sick given she has just been told such traumatic news. Ruby works out where her daughter could be and heads to find her at Anthony’s burial spot in the woods. She promises Steph they will get through this together. Later, Steph gathers the murder club together and tells them she has a plan. Will it work? And will it help them all move on? Joe offers to help Manpreet sort her problem out (Credit: ITV) Manpreet confronts her blackmailer – or so she thinks – in Emmerdale spoilers With her blackmailer demanding £5k, Manpreet hopes if she pays it will all go away. But at the cricket pavillion she is stunned when none other than Joe Tate turns up. She tears a strip off him for being so cruel and it’s clear he has no idea what she’s talking about. When she finally realises he is innocent, Joe offers to help. He wants to pay them off for her, but will it help Manpreet find out what’s going on? Dawn keeps her own secret hidden (Credit: ITV) Billy confesses, but Dawn does not in Emmerdale spoilers There’s an awkward moment between Billy and Manpreet after she drops him home and they almost kiss. Billy later apologises to her. But the guilt gets the better of him and he makes a confession to Dawn: he’s been messaging another woman online. She is surprisingly understanding and it doesn’t make alarm bells ring to Billy that she’s also hiding something. As Dawn forgives him, he has no idea she’s been up to much worse. She’s in turmoil, but will she restart things with Joe? Kammy has Sarah a bit smitten (Credit: ITV) Kammy causes a commotion for Sarah With farm machinery going missing locally, Ross is prime suspect. But then Sarah comes across Kammy on a broken down quad bike on a country lane. It’s clear he’s stolen it, but Sarah covers for him when Ross approaches and wants answers. In fact, Sarah wants in on the racket, desperate to have some fun. Kammy is taken aback and it’s clear they are both warming to each other.
