Coronation Street spoilers for next week see Tim Metcalfe uncover a murder as his cousin Richie is arrested.

Elsewhere, Sarah ends her relationship with Kit and encourages him to focus on his career.

Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street spoilers for next week.

1. Tim discovers a crime scene

Tim’s attempt to cover up a boozy lads’ night soon unravels when cousin Richie turns up on his doorstep after being thrown out by wife Rachel. A reluctant Sally agrees to let him stay, but it’s not long before she wants him gone.

As Tim encourages Richie to save his marriage, he later returns Richie’s forgotten wallet, only to be confronted by a blood-splattered Richie at the door. Horrified by what he sees inside, Tim immediately calls the police.

2. Tim and Sally take in Lucy

Tim is left haunted by his advice after Richie is charged with the murder of his wife, Rachel. As Lisa reveals Richie claims he acted in self-defence and that daughter Lucy has been taken into care, Tim and Sally are left reeling.

Things soon get even more complicated when Tim agrees to let Lucy move in after her foster placement falls through, without checking with Sally first. But as the traumatised youngster struggles to settle in and runs away, Tim and Sally are left wondering if they’ve taken on more than they can handle.

3. Lily vs Lucy

Life with Lucy proves anything but easy as Sally and Tim struggle to cope with their new arrival. After Lucy is left shaken by a terrifying nightmare, tensions rise when Tim blames Sally, insisting Rachel would still be alive if Richie had been allowed to stay.

Later, things take another worrying turn when Lily finds Lucy alone in Victoria Garden. After Lily calls her a freak, Lucy lashes out by grabbing her arm, forcing Jodie to step in.

4. Alya’s ready to sell up

Dylan struggles to keep his emotions in check when Alya refuses to let him work in the kitchen, leaving him feeling deflated. Things only get worse when a tense exchange with Ronnie during lunch service boils over, forcing Alya to step in.

Meanwhile, Idris once again offers to buy Alya’s share of Speed Daal, and after Adam points out she’s missed an important legal deadline, she finally makes a huge decision. Alya tells Leanne she’s selling her share of the restaurant, leaving its future up in the air.

5. Idris makes Alya an offer

Alya’s plans to sell her share of Speed Daal take a dramatic turn when she introduces potential buyer Gavin. But as Idris watches closely and later approaches him, Nick and Toyah warn Leanne that Idris may be trying to scare him off.

With doubts growing, Idris steps in to help during the lunch rush. And, he makes Alya a tempting offer of £35k cash for her share of the restaurant. Will she take the deal?

6. Sarah dumps Kit

Sarah finds herself facing a terrifying situation in prison when a hardened inmate sends a threatening glare her way, leaving her shaken. During a visit, Bethany is horrified by Sarah’s bruised face, but Sarah brushes off her concerns.

Afterwards, Kit is devastated when Sarah admits she still loves him but insists their relationship has to end. Determined not to let him risk his career because of her, Sarah stands by her heartbreaking decision, leaving Kit struggling to deal with his emotions.

7. Jodie eyes up Kit

Kit drowns his sorrows with vodka and admits to Jodie that Sarah has ended their relationship. Intrigued, Jodie tries to get closer, but Kit isn’t interested and storms off.

However, Jodie isn’t ready to give up and later tracks him down. She offers to buy him a pizza and insisting there’s nothing worse than a broken heart. Will Kit fall straight into Jodie’s trap?

8. Harry’s in trouble

Kit and Bethany decide it’s best for Harry if Kit stays at the flat. But when Kit reveals he’s booked Harry into Little Big Shotz for the whole of next week because he can’t look after him, Harry completely loses it, hurling his dinner across the room in a huge tantrum.

With Bethany out on a date with Roman, can Kit calm Harry down before things get even more out of hand?

9. Sarah makes a friend in prison

Sarah opens up to fellow inmate Kacey about her worries for Harry and how grateful she is that her ex has stepped up. But when Kacey reveals everyone knows he’s a police officer, Sarah is shocked.

After another inmate threatens Sarah, Kacey promises to protect her. Later, Bethany notices Kacey watching them, but Sarah insists her new friend has been a lifeline in prison.
