Coronation Street spoilers for next week see Cassie Plummer make a big exit after burning bridges with her family.

1. Cassie’s emotional goodbye

After being found slumped in the cab office with a bottle of whisky, Cassie wakes up on Sally’s sofa with Tim filling her in on what happened.

Reeling after Steve dumped her and Tyrone threw her out, Cassie announces she’s landed a cleaning job on a cruise ship.

She then shares an emotional goodbye with Hope, Ruby and Dorin, before Fiz gives her a family photo to remember them by.

2. Cassie’s in danger

Cassie arranges to meet Steve in the precinct, but things take a sinister turn when Ross turns up first.

Offering her a lift, he suddenly locks the car doors and floors the accelerator just as Steve arrives. Has Cassie driven straight into danger?

3. Ross is hiding something

Ross tells Fiz and Tyrone he’s thinking of moving nearby, but Fiz isn’t keen on the idea and quickly shuts him down. Later, Steve confronts Ross over giving Cassie a lift. Ross initially plays dumb, but when Steve reveals he saw Cassie get into his car, Ross changes his story and claims he dropped her at Piccadilly Station. Just what is he hiding?

Later on, Ross heads off for his first day working at the prison, while Fiz makes it clear she’s still missing Cassie and isn’t warming to him.

4. Tim bonds with his cousin Richie

Tim gets a blast from the past when his cousin Richie turns up as an unexpected fare in the precinct.

With Sally away, Tim invites him back for drinks, but Steve soon feels like the odd one out as the cousins relive old memories.

Later, Richie opens up about his unhappy marriage, leaving Tim to offer him a place to crash for the night.

5. Betsy reassures Dylan

Betsy opens up to Ryan about wanting to speak to Dylan, but she knows Lisa won’t be happy about it.

With Ryan’s help, Dylan comes round and Betsy tries to reassure him that she doesn’t blame him for what happened. But their conversation is cut short when Lisa arrives. How will she react?

6. Dylan’s attacked

Dylan finds himself facing the fallout from his actions as Brody steps in to defend Betsy. After seeing Betsy struggle with her speech, Lauren is determined that Dylan should be held accountable. Brody confronts him in the café, but their clash soon turns heated before Nina has to step in.

Later, Dylan is found unconscious in the precinct. But who attacked him?

Meanwhile, Sean wrongly points the finger at Brody, accusing him of hurting Dylan. Dylan quickly insists Brody wasn’t responsible, but is he telling the truth?

7. Lauren abandons Betsy

Lauren and Betsy’s relationship hits another rocky patch when an argument ends with Lauren storming out and leaving Betsy alone. When she returns, she finds Carla comforting a tearful Betsy after she’s had an accident. Carla is far from impressed and calls Lauren out for abandoning her.

Later, Lauren tries to make things right and apologises to Betsy for walking out. But will the pair be able to patch things up?

8. Debbie sees her future in Sienna’s mum

Debbie gets a frightening glimpse of what the future could hold when she meets Sadie, a woman struggling to recognise her own daughter. After promising Ronnie she’s giving up the booze to protect her brain, Debbie is left shaken when she sees Sienna’s heartbreaking situation play out before her.

Meanwhile, Asha and Bernie try to help Sienna find the right care for her mum, but their plan goes badly wrong when Sienna’s mum realises what’s happening and panics. As Asha fills Dev in, Ronnie quietly listens, clearly worried.

Ronnie steps in to support Debbie as she faces some difficult decisions. After overhearing Asha and Sienna discussing dementia care, Ronnie admits to James that taking Debbie out of her comfort zone on holiday may not have been the best idea. He later reassures Debbie that, when the time comes, he’ll make sure she has the support of a carer.

9. Kit makes a discovery

Kit turns to Bethany for help as he reveals the truth about Gary’s involvement in Theo’s murder. After Jay hands over a hard drive full of data, Kit explains that proving Gary stopped Sarah from going to the police could help reduce her sentence. As Kit digs through Gary’s phone records, he uncovers something interesting.

Later, he hints to Gary that he’s got a surprise waiting for him at the flat. What has Kit discovered?
