As Kit encourages Sarah to blame Theo murder on Gary, spoilers confirm Platt and Windass war
Kit wants Sarah to 'be honest' but 'blame Gary'
Coronation Street tonight (Tuesday, July 21), saw Kit Green inform Sarah Platt that she was going to be charged for Theo’s murder.
Kit encouraged Sarah to tell the truth in court so that it would look like self defence. He also wanted her to make it seem like Gary initiated the cover-up.
With Sarah fighting for freedom, spoilers have confirmed a new feud for the Platts and Windasses.

Sarah to be charged in Coronation Street
In Weatherfield tonight, Bethany and Kit tried to reassure a worried Harry after Sarah’s arrest. They lied that Sarah would be back home in a few hours.
At work though, Kit realised that the case was a lot more serious than that. Lisa told him that Sarah would be charged. Kit was also being looked into. Some of the team believed that he had helped Sarah cover-up the murder.
Kit couldn’t take it that Lisa would believe for one second that he’d cover-up a murder. Lisa then asked questions about Kit wanting to get hold of Sarah’s clothing. Kit lied that he was just trying to help Sarah find out who her attacker was.
In the interview room, Sarah tried to suggest that the same person who attacked her was also Theo’s killer. But, her story backfired and just made her look even more guilty.
Meanwhile on the Street, Maria shared her concerns with Gary that the police would soon be after him. She wanted to know if he was involved in the murder, but Gary told her that it was better for her to not know anything.
In her cell, Sarah was then visited by Kit after he managed to pull some strings. He informed her that she was going to be charged. She’d probably be denied bail, meaning that she’d go to prison.
She’d then await a trial, with Kit encouraging her to be honest. It would then look like self defence and she would likely be free to go home.
But, he didn’t want her to be honest about everything though. He wanted her to throw Gary under the bus and make it seem that he was the one who initiated covering up the murder.
