'Takes a proper man to show his emotions on TV'I’m A Celebrity South Africa saw Adam Thomas nearly booted off the show following an explosive row with Jimmy Bullard tonight (April 20).
During the trial, the campers were paired up in a task titled Rancid Run. Hosts Ant and Dec told them that whoever came out with the least amount of stars would be the next to leave the show.
Adam and Jimmy competed together. However, as the challenge began to unfold, Jimmy quickly gave up and was reluctant to help him.
Rather than swapping places, he refused to continue. “Boys, I don’t think I’ve got it in me,” he told Ant and Dec, before adding, “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here”.

Storming over, an unhappy Adam snapped: “Are you taking the [bleep]? Are you taking the [bleep]?”
Trying to calm things down, Jimmy responded: “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.” Clearly rattled, Adam fired back: “I’m in there getting covered in [bleeping] ants!”
Jimmy then urged the Waterloo Road star to settle, saying: “Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down,” before insisting: “That’s pathetic.”
The trial came to a sudden end, with the other campers wondering what happened next.

Adam was left fuming and continued to confront Jimmy after he admitted he had given up because he wanted to go home.
“Go home in camp then! Don’t do it on my [bleep]ing watch!” Adam said. Jimmy insisted others had quit the show in the past. However, Adam argued he hadn’t chosen to walk with him.
“Don’t do the show then, bro! Don’t do the show!”
Following the heated row, Adam was left in tears and was comforted by Scarlett Thomas. “Go out with grace because you’re a strong man,” she told him.
Ant and Dec then gathered the campers together to let them know what was happening.
At this point, Jimmy had already exited. However, after almost denying Adam’s place in the competition, the show offered the camp the opportunity to decide whether he should be able to stay or not.
Unanimously, they all agreed he should stay, and Adam was informed of the news. Tearing up, he expressed his gratitude.
“I appreciate that, guys. Thank you,” he said before apologising for how he acted.
‘He totally deserves it’
The episode left a huge impression on viewers. So much that many are now crowning Adam their winner.
“Adam was bullied by David then Jimmy acting like a [bleep] and since they got back to camp no one’s really spoken to him. He’s my winner,” one user wrote on X.
“Adam needs to stay he’s my winner at the moment!” another person shared.
“Adams gotta be my winner now. Not only is he proving what he can do living with a chronic condition but also has been through so much [bleep] on there, he totally deserves it. Takes a proper man to show his emotions on TV,” a third remarked.
“Adam is the only winner,” a fourth said.
At the beginning of the show, Corrie legend Beverley Callard had left on medical grounds.
