Age Of Attraction starts on Netflix on Wednesday (March 11) – but what is the new eight-part dating series about, who presents it and what can viewers expect?
Hosted by former Bachelor star Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy – who have an 18-year age gap – the series throws out the rulebook (and the birthdates) when it comes to modern dating to ask if age really is just a number.
Age Of Attraction on Netflix – what’s it about?
The new Netflix eight-part series asks that age-old question, is age really just a number?
The daters range from 22 to 60 years old, and the only rule in the early stages of the show is that potential matches can’t reveal their ages.
“You’ll be dating without ever knowing how old your partner is,” host Natalie Joy says in a first-look clip.
The singles will instead build connections based purely on chemistry, compatibility and an undeniable spark that has nothing to do with the year they graduated from high school.
In Age Of Attraction, when a couple feels ready to level up, they’ll commit to each other before revealing their ages. If they choose to move forward, the pair will then test their connection in the real world as they move in together, before introducing each other to their nearest and dearest.
After that, it’s time to decide if they want to give their love a chance to grow outside of the show.
Who is Age Of Attraction host Nick Viall?
Nick will look familiar to fans of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette as he’s appeared on both series. The reality TV star, 45, hosts the Netflix show with his wife, Natalie Joy. She is 27 years old and, as such, the pair have an 18-year age gap.
They met when Natalie slid into his DMs and married in 2024. Together, they host The Viall Files podcast. The couple share one daughter, River Rose, two, and Natalie is currently expecting twin girls, who are due later this year.
When Age of Attraction episodes drop on Netflix
The first five episodes drop this week, on Wednesday (March 11).
After that, episodes 6 and 7 drop the following Wednesday (March 18). And the final drops on Wednesday March 25.
Meet the cast of Age Of Attraction – the men
The singles come together at a speed-dating mixer during episode one, with stand-out stars soon emerging.
They include Andrew, a bar owner, Derrick, who’s in medical sales, and Justin, who really wants to start a family.
Also entering into the dating mix is Jorge, a criminal defence lawyer, and red-headed John, who reckons he resembled a certain British prince…
All the single ladies!
The men will be seen getting to know the likes of Libby, a social media manager, and graphic designer Pfeifer.
Masseuse Erin is also looking for love, as are flight attendant Leah and project manager Vanelle.
Dating show fans can’t wait to watch as first-look trailer drops
After the first-look trailer was released, dating show lovers marked their calendars for launch day.
“Watching the trailer for the new @netflix dating show #AgeofAttraction and one of the guys saying he won’t marry a woman that’s not ‘as hot as his mom’. Now I kinda want to watch it,” chuckled one.
“OMMMGGGGG!!! Screaming in excitement!!” declared another. “Can’t wait to watch!”
“This is so cringy. I’m so gonna watch it,” said another.
